Taking off his helmet was about the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

I didn't see the whole Texans game today, so for a second I thought he did it again. After clicking the link, I see that subby's referring to the game from last week. I wouldn't have put it past Cushing to do it again though. The guy doesn't seem too bright, but he's a hell of a football player, so he's got that going for him.

Oh give the big oaf a break, all that HGH makes it hard for him to think.

Isn't that a flag? I mean there were a couple of other flaggable things there, but c'mon, hats on while on the field. Even my kid's JV coach taught the kids that stuff.

Owen Schmitt used to bash his own face with his own helmet before every damn game and bleed like that on occasion.

/help me out if I'm thinking of the wrong person, but I'm pretty sure that was the guy

Too much football, not enough helmet.

Literally.

Yes, that was Owen. He kept busting his face mask also, I think.

I once saw a player do that in the 80s. Unfortunately, that player would later show signs of severe trauma-induced brain damage, like drafting Mike Williams in the first round.

As for the fight in the video, looks like a Browns player got his panties in a wad after being laid out on his ass with a clean, legal hit at about 2:45.

I believe that title still belongs to Shawne Merriman. For now he's just Lieutenant Steroids.

The Browns player only got pissy after being taunted by Cushing. Either way, Cushing came off as being a giant tool in that video.

The Texans are getting attention. This is good.

He's kinda funny and seems really douchey, but I'm glad he's on my hometown team. He's been the clear cut leader on the D this year.

so, where there offsetting penalties called on that play?

1) the browns lineman for headbutting a guy(twice) after the play.

2) cushing for removing the helmet on the field of play.

Who cares? If penalties are offsetting and no one is penalized is it really a penalty? Crap like that cuts into my commercial watching time damnit.

Texans are now the top seed in the AFC, so i expect them ranked below NE, Pitt, Balt and the Jets

To be fair, the Texans have been beating the crap out of average or worse teams.

That said, they're going into their bye on a four-game winning streak, with a 7-3 record for the first time in the Texans' history. That's certainly good enough for me, regardless what their "Power Ranking" is.

/Man, I'm so happy that Wade is so damn awesome as a Defensive Coordinator, and that our front office remembered that fact even after the depths he sunk to with the Cowboys.
//Mr McNair, I do believe that Mr Foster has earned his pay raise this year.

I believe the other 3 teams I pointed out (except Balt, who has its own set of problems) has also beat up on average and worse teams.

My only regret is not being in Houston for this run. If there's a Super Bowl appearance (yeah right) I'll make it to Indy one way or another

Heh. Is there a more poetic way for the (hopefully) newly dominant team in the AFC South to announce their presence than to appear in the Super Bowl being held in the former dominant team's stadium?

My Texans are looking good!! With Cushing and the defense playing like they are it is a good time to be a Texan fan i tell you! And Cushing isn't anymore of a douche than Clay Matthews or any other player getting himself pumped up during the game. But he better leave Foster alone or we are going to have words!
