Three observations I don't think any of us can dispute:

1. Politics tab regulars are regularly found in discussions on the politics tab. Often you'll see regulars early on in each thread.
2. Politics tab regulars are opinionated, as a rule.
3. Politics tab regulars are pretty familiar with all the other regulars, and have opinions about them.

Applying Occam's Razor, I don't think "stalking" is the likeliest explanation for any particular guy getting ragged on in here.

I'm well aware of Tatsuma's ability to say stupid things, but I'm not certain that merits jumping down his throat each time he appears in a thread. I'm all for shaming the trolls who come in and just ruin the discourse, but from the little I read in the Israel threads Tats seems to argue from where he believes. The piledriving that happens when he sticks his head in any thread (and those he doesn't) strikes me as excessive and personal.

Like I said, the middle east threads tend to get way to hotheaded for me. So maybe I'm completely wrong, but I see Tatsuma as a guy I disagree with a lot instead of a troll.

Contradicted yourself there.

Don't worry, I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time too. His devotion lies less with Israel than it does to trolling. He will be deliberately inflammatory, say one thing, then when called out, slowly move the goal posts just to get more responses. He throws out a lot more raw information than your average troll, but he follows all the same rules.

It would be creepy, but literally the first two pages I can only read two post, the rest are just grey lines so that's fine.

I imagine it's not too nice, based on the overall 15 posts I can read in this thread.

Actually it stopped being creepy and instead quite annoying when people started to bring up that thread all the time in unrelated threads years ago, so I've been quite liberal with my use of the ignore function. From what I understand, it hasn't stopped them.

That just makes them even sadder, really.

Pretty much. I can make the most non-provocative statement, and it's going to result in violent violent hatred.
