"Will Kyle behave himself?" Yeah, he'll be good for the rest of the year. He's changed, baby, please take him back! He's learned his lesson and will never ever do it again.

On the bright side, I don't have to feel dirty when I eat M&Ms anymore.

Foaming: On the bright side, I don't have to feel dirty when I eat M&Ms anymore.

I still think M&Ms would be a better fit with Logano. He would make them happier since he is far less controversial. Put Kyle with Home Depot, which is already used to hot heads from their days with Smoke.

And Logano still looks like he's 16 too so candy kinda makes sense.

Totally. Perfect alignment of driver/sponsor: Logano in the Nationwide Gamestop car.

That JJ PR piece was nauseating.

Yep.

Warchild: That JJ PR piece was nauseating.

The only thing JJ proved he was good at was being consistent in a 10 race season. 6.9 average Chase finish to win his 5 "championships". And no, I don't recognize them. Nobody who coasts through 26 races, doing just well enough to stay in the chase, is worthy of being called a champion.

Well, we get a competition caution at Lap 40 because of the rain greening-up the track, so at least ESPN has one scheduled 3-minute commercial break right there...

2011-11-13 03:04:22 PM
Um... I don't like this version of the anthem. Weird harmony/tune

If yesterday was any indication, today should be billed as "NASCAR On Ice"

It was pretty slippery out there. I felt really bad for Elliott Sadler. Tough break get slammed into the wall.

2011-11-13 03:08:46 PM
Somebody please explain the "new configuration." It was an oval... they repaved it... it's still an oval. Unless they put in a right turn somewhere, I'm not seeing a configuration change.

While I feel bad for Elliot, I feel even happier for ol' Horny Sam. That was a great win!

I see that Adrian Fernandez gave the command to start your engines. Did Sheriff Joe and ICE immediately deport him afterwards?

Let's see if, unlike yesterday, they can complete one lap before a crash.

Phoenix was always kinda weird shaped for an oval. It has a "Dog leg" semi-turn on the back stretch. Now it's almost a full turn, but they paved the apron so some people skip it entirely. Also, the wall opened up in that spot to accommodate a road course, and they've closed that off. I think they also altered the banking, increasing it in some areas and even adding some progressive banking, where it's a degree or two more in the outside than the inside.

Thank you! That's one track I haven't been to before. Drove by it a few times, but never saw a race there.

Beer only. If we start tequila shots this early, we won't make it to lap 30.
