The cop lucked out in that the guy just didn't go the direct route to kill him. The guy was already committing felonies and not only did he get caught anyways, but he still failed in all his weak assassination attempts.

He should have just filed a complaint with Internal Affairs if he had a problem with his arrest.

But that would require hm to not be completely crazy that he registered as 2.25 Bachmann's on the Crazy Scale.

/Something tells me that there was nothing wrong with the arrest other then the fact that he got arrested.

The article was devoid of any mention of what evidence there was against him. I'm forced to conclude that there was none and he's actually innocent.

At least he used poop in one of the attempts!

In one instance, natural gas was rerouted into the office of a gang task force and rigged to explode.

For the record, Hemet is not a desert community. It's on the west side of the mountains, making it part of the chaparral biome (which gets a little more rain than the desert, enough to grow the chaparral enough for spectacular wildfires.)

Oh, and Hemet/San Jacinto is also a smoggy white trash hellhole. If you've never been, you haven't missed a thing.

WTF, man! It seems like every trial in California I ever read about takes over a month to try. How is this possible? Two-hour workdays for judges and court staff?

AndreMA: Site is infected with javascript malware.

A well-known newspaper like the San Francisco Chronicle? Anything's possible, but it's not so likely.

AndreMA: (Tynt or similar)
Tynt (which tries to append a citation link into copy/pasted text) is quite obnoxious (much like those JS scripts that disable right-clicking on pictures if your browser settings allow JS to capture secondary-click events), but falls a bit short of malware. If you categorize that as malware, then many of Fark's links would fail the test.
