Yes it is. If they lose today they'll have to run the table and pray to make it on record. As it is they can only lose one more game tops if they want to make the playoffs.

What a difference a week makes.

Fark you, I'm not listening to 15 minutes of sports radio.

Lots of early games this week. The CBS map looks like someone vomited on it.

I did. It was worth it. He didn't go all Casey Kasem, but he did lose his composure for more than a few minutes. That was great when his co-host simply said "I don't know what to say..." and he almost lost his shiat again with the guy giving the injury report on the phone.

Also, robsul82, I'm interested in putting together a "Tony Rizzo Is Throwing Up Poop" Meter, similar to The Delhomme, to measure how sh*tty the Browns are doing in a given week. If you could help me with this, as I'm sh*t with math, it'd be appreciated.

Can the surprising 6-2 Lions go on the road to continue their surprising season after a pounding of the Denver bronces, and heading into games later in the season against the division leading Packers on Thanksgiving and Week 17?

It sounds like a familiar question. (new window)

Even more interesting, I'm looking at the Lions schedule... I could see one of Carolina or Minnesota upsetting the Lions, and all of their other games (@ Chicago, GB twice, New Orleans, @ Oakland, San Diego) are definitely losable games for them.

I'll call it now.... total 2007 redo.... 6-2 start, 1-7 finish.

Dude, you're sixteen and you've not only gotten to see your team win two playoff games in that time, but they've also had, like, ten winning/500 seasons. I'm 22, been a Browns fan since right before they left Cleveland in '95 and the highlights of my fandome have been a 10-6 season in which they didn't make the playoffs and watching them choke away their one playoff appearance ten years ago.

What I'm saying is it could be so, SO much worse.

I admit there have been worse teams to be fans of *cough Texans cough cough*. However, the first NFL game I ever watched was the 2005 Wild Card game between Washington and Tampa Bay, which the Redskins won, and since then I decided to stick with them (also, my uncle's really the only other diehard NFL fan in the family, and he lives in DC). However, since then, they have not won a single playoff game (lost to the damn Seahawks in 2005 and 2007), and I've had to endure the failures of Zorn and Shanahan, along with the overall failure of Dan Snyder's handling of the team. They always give me false hope in the beginning of the season it seems, and then they end up blowing up in the face.

So, personally, while not the hardest team to root for, it is hard to root for modern-day Redskins.

How stupid is DeSean Jackson? The guy doesn't act like he wants to be paid what he claims he wants to be paid. Plus, he's a mediocre WR. He's not long for the NFL if this is how he's going to act.
