It matters all the more on the track, right? You have people gunning high powered cars out of an (apparent) blind corner into traffic.....Flashers will tell the driver's behind you who may not see the traffic up ahead, but do see your rear, that they need to get off it and on the brakes.

Nope. The ambulance page I answered this morning on I-80 when a tractor trailer slid on an inch of glare ice, crossed the median and rolled in front of oncoming traffic while losing 65-inch HDTV's was MUCH more impressive.
