To be fair, the victim of the bathroom practical joke pulled his own sever-the-aorta prank.

You know, it is just impossible to pronounce "Slidell," whether it's the town or surname, any way other than
"Slaaa-DELL".

Yes, we've known a few Slidells round here.

Did they just C & P a very badly written police report into this article?

Felipe Fuentes, 40, of Slidell, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, according to police.

Once Pueutes got out of the bathroom, the two engaged in a fight, according to police. The fight was stopped by other people.

Pueutes, who captured by a K-9 later, fled into a wooded area, according to police.

So they spell the suspect's name two different ways and never mention the name of the victim...could this be any more confusing? Did the guy stab himself? Article writer needs to find another career.

He changed his name while in the bathroom so as to throw the police off his trail. Even that didn't work.

I just pronounce it "Sly-dell." I don't hold the I out as a long "a" sound.

Well that could've been the problem right there...one guy goes into the bathroom, a different guy comes out - you can see where the unnamed victim might have been thrown for a loop.

Also, preventing someone from leaving the bathroom is one of the greatest practical jokes of all time - displays a lot of wit, preparation, and comic timing. The only joke that tops it is stabbing, so you can see how the guy had to go there.

Slidell is a pretty wonderful town, really.

A few of my fraternity brothers tried that on me a couple times. Nobody was stabbed, but the pranks typically didn't work because I am so heavy that when I slam my body into a door, it sends people flying backwards.

And one time it was a door that opened inwards. Dumbasses.

as i read this, the guy in the bathroom pulled a prank. eventually came out. guy outside of bathroom left, came back with a pocket knife and stabbed him. sounds less like second degree murder and more like "douche scared me? i'll stab his ass!"

/apologies for lack of spelling and caps

Of course it is. Just look at the name, "Louisiana" is an Anglicized form of "Louisia" which is an ancient term of authority from the Inca civilizations.

If the only two witnesses are the dead guy and the murderer, how do we know any of those things?

Outlaw Thirds: If the only two witnesses are the dead guy and the murderer, how do we know any of those things?

I say the same thing every time a cop murders someone and claims self-defense.

/I have a tendency of pooping a real smelly poop and closing the door and leaving the fan off, in order for others, to smell what I created hours later.

The Spanish were there first.

To be fair, being trapped is a really primal fear that can provoke such a reaction. Some college roommates did that to me once (jammed something in my bedroom door so I was stuck for about half an hour). After about five minutes of thinking it was funny, the rage really built up and I finally broke the window out, went around the outside and beat the main guy who did it up. And these were actually good friends (i.e. still buddies and it wasn't like I was ever bullied by them before or since), but the sheer anger that built up was about the most I've ever experienced.

Pretty much any time you're locked in a small space you're going to experience fear and rage. I
