I've read about mothers inducing labor or holding the baby in for this. They should have their kids taken away for that alone.

2011-11-12 04:39:45 PM
Maybe they'll name him Alvin. If it was a girl, they could have named her Evelyn.

That way, in just a few decades when the kid is old enough, we could look forward to a horrific murder.

2011-11-12 04:45:16 PM
At the very least, they should have given him Nigel as a middle name.

Neat, if it was natural and not caesarian or induced. Mrs. Gig103 was born naturally at 7:08 on 7/08.

This means something.

In addition to the above, my guess is that they allowed a little "fudging" on the sheets for this case if the baby was "actually" born at 11:09 or 11:13 on the hospital clock.

What makes this even more amazing is how Veteran's Day just happens to fall on November 11th this year.

Just wondering, is there a day for the guys who got killed and aren't therefore technically 'veterans'?

Prefer the UK's Rememberance Day better.

'Veteran's Day' sounds so....urgh. I mean, fack, they aren't dead, leave the day for the unfortunate ones who gave their lives.

That would be Memorial Day, which here in the US is observed with family vacations, Baysplosion-filled blockbusters at the cineplex, and sales at the mall.

You know... considering that ~250 crotchspawn are farted out every minute in this country and that about 7.3% of the US population are veterans... let's make an extremely-conservative estimate and say that just a bit over 1/3 of them (use 2.5%) are actually part of said baby-spewing... why are we focusing on this one when it's highly likely that there are 3, 4, 5 or 6 of them?

My sister is overdue for having her babby. Most of us were hoping she'd have it yesterday for the cool birthday. She was hoping she'd have it yesterday so it would be the fark out of her.

You must not be familiar with Memorial Day. If you have a high school diploma, give it back. You don't deserve it.

human interest stories on teh internetz is a roll-over from newspaper days. in a world filled with horror and social injustices, people like to read about something warm and happy from time to time.

something i learned in my surfing days: not every wave is going to be a major orgasm. if one learns to appreciates the small waves, the little things, one can find so much more bliss on the life journey. not all news will be mind-blowing, earth shattering events. Thank God.

and this is what it's all about; this is what life is for many: a loving couple having a baby. congratulations to the Saydeh family. good health to you all.

I was supposed to be married on 11/11/11... Thankfully, for the love of all that is holy, that did not happen.

Looking back on things this is how I feel about breaking off that engagement.

Well, if you're going to get that technical, the calendar is pretty arbitrary anyway, so there's no reason to say there ever was an 11-11-11.
