That's like saying that Linsay Lohan's alcohol and drug consumption is at a low point for the year.

So when are we going to make China float the Yuan?

2011-11-12 09:39:30 AM
Because we wiped out the middle class (by shipping the middle class jobs to china) who bought all the cheap Chinese crap. It truly is the snake that ate itself.

Thanks to a strong Euro. But when the euro gets scrapped the only thing left for the US (besides raising taxes and cutting spending lol) is to have the ChiComs loosen up the RMB. However, once China gets Italy's gold they will likely back the yuan by gold. At which point they'll be free to start dumping their dollars and then it's game over for the US dollar.

Begun, the Currency Wars have.

The U.S. trade deficit narrowed to $43.1 billion in September, its lowest point of the year...
John Henry Eden: Thanks to a strong Euro

Yeah, the strong Euro is why the trade deficit was the lowest of the year in September.

Then you're an idiot. Only January and February had a weaker Euro than September.

If you knew anything about currency trading you'd know that a 12% jump in a little over a year is a huge move.

Now Bill Clinton was one of the greatest Presidents since Lincoln, however I strongly disagreed with his policies on exporting jobs overseas

I was buying tools today and it's quite a pain to find stuff not made in China. I did find a tool box that was made in the US(surprisingly it was the cheap plastic one) and a Crescent wrench, but no luck finding a pair of locking pliers not made in China. Even Vise-grip brand are now made in China.

And it's not all that much cheaper than the american-made stuff used to be, and if it is the quality is so low it just won't last.

Instead of a few hundred people making a living in a factory, a dozen or so live like minor royalty and the rest scrape by.

The Crescent wrench was just barely more that the other decent stuff(not the $2 wrenches that won't last more than a couple jobs) and that was probably more due to it being the brand name than the american made.

It's made in China using manufacturing equipment from US, Japan, Germany etc.

Good analogy, but a little insulting to call the Fox News fans as 'sheep'. I know sheep have a reputation for not being very bright, but even they're more intelligent than your average Republican

I dunno, considering everyone else drives on the wrong side of the world. Maybe they use them for mail delivery?

He doesn't think the Chinese are back engineering those manufacturing equipment. Bawhahahaha. How do you think the US was able to compete with England in the 19th century.
