I ASSUME you probably meant hypothermia/really cold water... which, yes, likely negatively contributed to his condition.

No. I thought Septic Shock was when your blood stream is overwhelmed with toxins. that was what I was going for.

No. I thought Septic Shock was when your blood stream is overwhelmed with toxins. that was what I was going for.


Eh, it's not the 50s anymore. I swam in the lake in Gary in the '80s, and it's even cleaner now. I did cut my foot on a submerged car once though.

Depends on the month - it can be pretty pleasant in August.

Then again, I never put my head under the water.
