As long as we don't have werewolf strippers it should good.

Unless of course you're a furry.

My wife just asked, "Are you watching the trailer for the new Twilight movie?"

I'm sure this film will be a smash hit just like Snakes On A Plane, Scott Pilgrim and Sucker Punch.

Do they do it doggie style?

I doubt I'll go to the theater to watch it. Can't masturbate in the movie theater, thank you very much Pee-Wee Herman

I could wear fake fangs, a cheap fur coat and act scenes out with Grables Daughter.

Well, someone must fight the Zombie Strippers...

Ponzholio: Well, someone must fight the Zombie Strippers...

Zombie vs. Strippers

Pale face, blackened eye area, soul-less, desperately trying to suck the life out of humans---and don't even get me started on the Zombies.

guys, Zombie Strippers was unwatchably bad. I am telling you this right now - when I can not bring myself to finish watching a movie with hot naked chicks in it.... you have made one BAD farking movie.

Truer words have never been spoken... When the movie ended I was like "Did I just get trolled by the director?"

So does Samuel L. Jackson have the lead in this or just a character role?

There's something to be said of movies that let you know in the title exactly what you're in for: Snake on a Plane, Hobo With a Shotgun, Cowboys vs. Aliens, etc.

oh, and...

Phil Moskowitz: That's absolutelyfascinating.

subby said Werewolf, not a Wavrwovff.

I came in here to mention Snakes on a Plane.... but you really should check out Scott Pilgrim. Unlike your other two examples Scott Pilgrim actually WAS an awesome movie, even if it bombed in the theater.

CSB: I had no idea what it was about going into it. I only saw it because my plans for that night had fallen through and I had two friends who were going bonko at the prospect of one of their favorite comics hitting the big screen... so with a couple hours to kill suddenly I said "fark it" and went by myself to go see it. I ended up seeing it twice more in the theater, with company.

Really, really excellent movie.

Also, this. I love that movie. Went into it cold not knowing anything about the comics. First 20 minutes i was like, "Ehh" and then Matthew Patel showed up and I was like "Woahhhhh".

no. no, it is not an awesome movie. it is a TERRIBLE movie with cool effects and a great looking leading lady. Michael Cera sucks in it, as he does in most films, the plot is farking stupid, most of the acting is sophomoric at best and most of the "evil ex's" are to damn effeminate to be believable as ass-kicking antagonists. the video-gamey effects are cool, as is some of the music. it is VERY easy to see why that film bombed, however - it just isn't very good.

i am not trolling. dude, I am the target audience for that film - i love games, love geeky girls and love cool fight scene movies. i even like Michael Cera in Superbad, and hold that film up as one of the best comedies in the past 20 years. Hell, I even loved Kick-Ass.

Scott Pilgrim was farking terrible.

How can we dispute points made by hyperbole?

All of your points consist of, what we in the biz call "opinions." Lemme highlight a few for ya:

frepnog: ...TERRIBLE...cool...great looking...sucks...farking stupid...sophomoric at best...to damn effeminate to be believable as ass-kicking antagonists....cool...it just isn't very good.

I don't see any actual points, and I'm trying VERY hard not to make a "pinhead" joke in there, all I see is that you don't seem to care for the movie. I thought it was a lot of fun. If you didn't like it, fine, but there's no reason, aside from assholeishness, to denegrate and dismiss others for liking it. There seem to be quite a lot of people who disagree with you. I'm sure some of them have even analyzed the effects, scripting, acting, etc, and can give you actual, detailed reasons why they are good or bad. YOU, however, provided nothing except for your opinion, which, as this is Fark, are presented as fact, immutable and unyielding. So, if you want to tell us exactly what elements were so terrible, feel free. Otherwise, piss off.

/yeah, yeah, don't feed the troll

From IMDB - Kolchak: The Night Stalker: Season 1: Episode 5 -- Kolchak suspects that a werewolf may be among the passengers aboard a cruise ship.

Season 1, Episode 5: The Werewolf
Original Air Date-1 November 1974
When a tax audit interrupts Vincenzo's plans to take a cruise ship vacation, he sends Kolchak in his place to follow up on a story about swinging singles. Kolchak becomes more interested in a series of mutilations that begin taking place on the ship, perpetrated by a creature that seems to be half man, half wolf.

I love the Scott Pilgrim books, I was 24 when the first one came out and not real sure what the hell I was doing with my life, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in the movie.

It was too crowded, boiling 6 books down into one movie, too much going on. Cera is farking terrible. MEW was okay, but I didn't love it, I thought the evil exes were good, save the Katayanagi Twins, I thought that was bad. I loved them in the book, but hated them on screen. Most of the secondary characters were good, Wallace and Stephen Stills and Young Neil especially, and I thought Knives was perfect. In short, Cera ruined it. He played Scott almost completely the opposite of how I saw him.

But there ain't nothing wrong with that.

I have no conscious memory of it at all, but there is probably 0% probability that I didn't sublimate that idea. I stole it, and didn't even know it.
