I just called 911 because this page won't load for me.

You folks need to clarify the word emergency is all.

Ok, seriously how drunk, stupid, or drunk and stupid do you have to be to do something like this, involving alcohol or drugs? When I'm fixin' to get all tore up, and subsequently do, the LAST people I want anywhere near me are any sort of authority figures. They'll find some way to severely disimprove the quality of your bender.

/mall security may be the lone exception

Quite. I called on 4th of July when my neighbor almost blew up his kids while drunk by putting a mortar into the mailbox and not telling anyone and other stuff that is @#(* retarded.

I ended up pocket dialing them at 4 am later on. Granted it wasn't 911 the 'non emergency' line.

So when he phoned to complain his phone wasn't working, did he use the phone that supposedly wasn't working?

/you must be drunk, buddy. You look all blurry to me

My guess is he was too hammered to remember his passcode correctly and the phone eventually went into emergency call only mode.

This is why you don't have passcodes, NO I don't know if you can avoid it on an iPhone.

You can dial 911 from the lock screen on an iPhone.

As a 911 operator, I can't tell you how many times people have called and when I ask them if they have an emergency they say "No, my phone told me to dial 911 so I did. I can't get it to work, it says it needs a passcode."

Yes you can avoid it on the iPhone.

I have mine disabled incase it's lost. I've already lost it once and someone found it and called "mom".

It's too late by then, Subby. They've already bought an iPhone.
