It's like Rick Perry was stealing all his camera time so he had to go and ratchet it up a notch.

When this is turned into a screenplay for Lifetime it will be rejected as "too cliche."

The GOP race for the nomination is symptomatic of something I've been saying for some time now.

Jerry Springer, tabloid journalism, and reality television have changed us. We no longer celebrate heroism, accomplishment, or intelligence. Now we celebrate dysfunction. We aspire to it. The bigger the trainwreck you are, the more attention you get, the more money you might get. So instead of trying to recover from gaffes, mistakes, and misdeeds, these jokers are doubling down. And it's not just this crop.

If we keep it up we very well may get the leaders we deserve.

America's heroes today are:

-a coach who didn't do anything to stop child rape
-Joe the plumber
-and an Arkansas sheriff who likes to lock up brown people

I think its wonderful how much America has progressed, today a black man can sexually harass numerous white women, and old white Southerners LOVE him!

Truly remarkable how far we've come.

One day all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Ass ass titties titties ass ass titties titties"

Not popular? Herman Cain is my absolute favorite GOP politician right now. No others even come close to the entertainment value of Herman Cain. He's hugely popular, just for all the wrong reasons.

I love Herman Cain. Not as a candidate - I would never vote for him. However, the man is an absolute genius! He is making money hand over fist from this spectacle, which I believe was his plan all along. Being accused of sexual harassment was probably not part of the plan, but he sure has used it to his advantage.

He is going to end up much more wealthy than he was at the start of this, all on the backs of the stupid rubes that believe he is a serious candidate.

If this was his plan after all, which I also believe to be true, then someowhere, somehow, he let it slip that he is trolling us for cash. Boom- find it, litigate it. FRAUD.

True. But, we've already had George W. Bush, so I'm afraid we are already there. Throw in the cheering-for-your-football-team sports mentality which has infected what used to be policy discussions, and you have a perfect way for the country to swirl down the drain.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I can't muster anything more than a 'meh' over this. Someone else brought her up and his joke was harmless and even mildly amusing.

He believes Cain makes Liberals incensed, furious and enraged. And ultimately, that is all that matters.

Just kind of stupid thing to joke about when you are battling sexual harassment charges. Just like the "Princess Nancy" comment. Just not very smart.

I don't have a problem with conmen. If Herman Cain doesn't take money from the rubes, someone else will. Why shouldn't it be him?
