Didn't George H. W. Bush accidentally flip off the entire country of Australia this way?

In Britisher, that's not 'peace', it's a transliteration of the Americanized middle finger, likish flipping the bird, mum.

I have an ultrasound image of my son doing the Spock "live long and prosper" thing.

Dammit I can't see pictures. Can anyone post the ones from this article and the "duck" article linked in the last sentence?

The two fingers up is a symbol for victory, not peace. But I wouldn't expect an unborn child to know that.

Definitely not a "peace" sign in the UK...

Oh yeah, I didn't notice he's doing it backwards. It's amusing that this was report in the Scottish Sun. Doesn't that gesture still mean "up yours" in Scotland?

Two fingers with the palm out is the peace and/or victory sign. Two fingers with the palm inward means fark off.

I do this all the time. Not the flipping the bird/reversed V -- just reacting with friendliness to hostility/negligence. You'd be surprised how it short-circuits a lot of people's anger.

I'm not buddhist, but I agree with the bit about if they offer you anger and you don't accept, who keeps the anger?

Except for that old WWII "V for Victory" thing. Perfect for Veteran's Day.

Good for you man. FWIW they were dispatched as friendly V's, a little bit like Robert Englund.

I like to accompany it with a tongue waggle in between the fingers to add to the insult

She's kinda cute......I'd give her more than a couple of fingers.

We've got two winners. My oldest son's ultrasound has his hand on his chin, like "The Thinker" (he still sleeps like that). We knew we were in trouble with the younger one - big middle-finger right into the ultrasound "camera" :D

/ My first CSB - yayyy! (retard clap)

espian2: Dad was nine when the oldest was born. Some prowess!

It said that he was the boy's father, not the father of all of them. Notice how she's about 10 years older than him?

Still, it's pretty creepy being only 9 years older than your stepson...
