There's been more than one Gordon?

Eh, they all look alike to me.

Guy looks like he is in his 40s

Probably dead by now. A lot of African-Americans have significant heart issues and rarely make it past mid-60s

I started watching in kindergarten in 1969. Yeah yeah get off my lawn. Missed the premier. I was in Socal so I gave up Sheriff John for Sesame Street. (Maggio carrots anyone?) I don't remember this Gordon.....just the one who died. Also remember Susan and Oscar used to be orange. Ten Chocolate layer cakes!!!!Link (new window)

So they replaced Gordon with a different black guy and pretended he was the same person? No wonder I grew up not being able to tell black people apart. IT'S ALL SESAME STREET'S FAULT!

Almost 20 years ago I parked my car in the middle of a closed future road blasting Smart E's version of the Sesame Street song. It was in the middle of the desert. We were by ourselves. It was dark. It would make a great music video.

Back then we didn't carry around digital video recording devices.

2011-11-11 02:20:41 AM
The road was closed at the time because it led you out into the desert and then just dead ended. Now it's a major thruway on the west side of Albuquerque near Rio Rancho.

Right here was the dead end at the time.

Also I ran over a jackrabbit along Paradise Blvd. just to the northeast of this spot.

Hey, It was the 60's. Political unrest, Viet Nam, LSD, Men on the moon and Mom was feeding me crunchy peanut butter. And that bastardo Sherrif John never once read any of the letters I sent him. I would pray that my letter, just one, would be read. Sniff.........

Besides I had Winky Dink and that show that had the "magic key"...oh and Hobo Kelly.

Mystery Gordon is like a cross between Nipsey Russell and Ted Williams, that homeless golden voice guy. He was probably some stage hand they roped into doing the pilot simply because he was the only one around not too strung out to do it, so I would imagine he had a union card you could trace. No?

/Yes, I went there. You telling me Henson, et al. didn't do drugs? I call BS on that.
