Seriously though. For the lower classes Fast food is a staple diet. This data is intentionally biased. Social sciences should be held to the same standard as medical sciences. Namely: clinical trials. I'm sure this study was done many times over until the author got the results he wanted.

Fast food is not the only available junk food. In fact, it's not even the worst. The absolute worst things are candy and sugared drinks, and you can buy those at any convenience store or grocery store (or Walmart or pretty much anywhere).

I remember going into a small convenience store in a poor part of town once. There was this young black kid, probably like 15 or 16, who must have weighed like 250+ pounds and was buying a big wad of chocolate. He was huffing and puffing just standing in line, it was so painful to listen to that I wanted to just grab the chocolate away from him and tell him he was killing himself.

Actually dirt poor people do eat at fast food a lot, its amazing to me since its unhealthy and you can cook more cheaply at home then have it last longer.

There are a huge number of fast food joints in poor areas, when we don't feel like cooking we go for hibachi or just go drink at the bar.

Yeah we went to europe and avoided the mcd's everywhere but we broke down and ate at one in Amsterdam, because the munchies get ya and we didn't want to wait.

God I miss Amsterdam.

You can easily judge the type of people that eat at mcdonalds. 9/10 its mcd's trash thrown out of a car, dumped in a parking lot etc....
Same goes for beer. You never see bottle of black butte porter on the side of a road it's a mgd or coors can/bottle.
