I have a friend who is intelligent yet Republican (oxymoron, inna?) and we've been emailing back and forth on economic policy. He is a multi-millionaire but not quite in the 1% yet (we're each still working on it).

I still find it shocking that Cain's "pizza plan" tax policy 9-9-9-0 (or is it now 9-0-9-0) will reduce Warren Buffet's tax bill to ~zero while punishing the median American family of four (income ~$50k) by nearly $5k a year, and doing nothing, nada, zip, bupkus about the deficit, and that anyone at all is OK with this.
