That's some pretty rough stuff. I wonder how well he'd take it if someone called his wife those things and told him to "learn how to take a joke."

@ToddKincannon: @TeresaKopec Or how about "The Botox biatch from Buggeryland"? That seems to work for Nancy Pelosi too.

I didn't know she went to Penn State.

2011-11-10 09:50:07 AM
Someone should tell the GOP that women represent half of all Americans, and it might not be the best strategy to insult them and sexually harass them.

2011-11-10 09:53:10 AM
I wonder if Cain even realizes how stupid that was of him. Probably not. Self-awareness doesn't seem to be his strong suit.

I expected something dumb, but holy shiat.

Diogenes: I wonder if Cain even realizes how stupid that was of him. Probably not. Self-awareness doesn't seem to be his strong suit.

But see, it didn't lose him any voters or supporters.

The only people who still support him are people who think 5 women coming forward with stories of sexual misconduct are just stupid lib whores who are out to keep down the black man and get a paycheck. Never mind that his organization SETTLED with a few of them. Never mind that his wife has been utterly silent.

There are self hating women- a lot of them. And those women won't care when other women get dehumanized because they've been conditioned their whole lives to accept it.

"I'm not a harasser, princess, now pull your panties out of your cooter and get back to work. And wear something...sheer tomorrow."

Ah yes, the standard Republican 'oh shiat, I got caught, quick call it a joke!' defense.

what_now: Never mind that his organization SETTLED with a few of them. Never mind that his wife has been utterly silent.

This is the part that Cain never seems to address. The organization made multiple payouts ($45K, $35K, others unknown) to women accusing the same guy of the same thing, and part of the conditions attached to the money was that the women had to sign an NDA preventing them from discussing the accusations.

Yeah, that sounds legit.

2011-11-10 10:15:29 AM
When multiple women have come forward accusing you of sexual harassment, or at the least, sexual misconduct.....it's probably not a smart idea to say something condescending like "Princess Nancy" in regards to the former Speaker of the House. You don't have to like the woman or agree with her politics to understand how completely retarded that was.

Just another example of how Herman Cain lacks the mental acumen required to be President of the United States.

2011-11-10 10:15:37 AM
They really are determined to drive off anybody who isn't white, male, straight, and either rich or horribly bigoted enough to overlook the fact that they're getting farked in the ass along with everybody else, aren't they?

2011-11-10 10:15:50 AM
This is going great.

Well, given the alliteration, yes, he probably intended it to be humorous. I'm glad to know what he considers funny. You can tell a lot about a person by their sense of humor.

It's like all the window dressing on the Republican party has been completely stripped away, leaving all the disgusting underlying emotions exposed for everyone to see.

2011-11-10 10:21:29 AM
And democrats just keep taking it like a biatch. Republicans are bullies and democrats are the bullied, their spinelessness is embarrassing.

And I assume he would also consider it a real knee slapper if a democratic adviser tweeted something about "Herman Coon and his ni9-9-9er tax plan". 'cos it'd be funny, amirite?

Cletus C.: Princess seems inappropriate.

It's dismissive and sexist, which as Coco LaFemme pointed out, isn't the wisest thing for Cain to appear as right now, but independent of the situation, I'd leave it at 'fairly mild'. Kincannon's comments, however... He didn't do himself any favors politically, though I'm thinking his response to that would be "I didn't want any of their kind voting for me anyway".

It will be interesting to see if the GOP heads smack him down or if Rush applauds him for being the kind of guy who 'just says aloud what everyone's thinking'.

Ex-GOP official? Can't imagine why.

Agreed. It was a year's salary in those cases, wasn't it? That's a big payout if it's a baseless accusation. What I want to know is if Cain's leadership was "worth it"? I have my doubts.

Hey, go easy, chicks get all emotional when they're on the rag. Unless you've got tons of spare tissues in your pocket, you got to use finesse on dames or you're gonna get snot on your tweed.

Oh, and Herman Cain, your denials about sexual harassment would be a lot easier to accept if you dropped the casual sexism.

Why does everyone always pick on Herman Cain? Being a woman in American politics is exactly like being an animated Disney movie heroine.

But dont worry. I'm sure some random liberal somewhere at sometime on a random internet site may or may not have said something possibly or not similar, maybe, so that makes this OK!

After all, both sides are exactly the same in every way, AND democrats are way worse and not the same as the innocent republicans.
