That's impossible. Next thing you'll tell me that their SOSHULIZED national health care system produces longer life expectancies at lower costs than the US system.

In the meantime, there are 19 states in the US where it's legal for teachers to hit children. In a few of those, it's legal on the books but almost never done in practice. But in 14, at least 1,000 kids are hit by school employees each year.

The four places that use it the most (by percentage of students) are Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. In Mississippi, 7.5% of schoolchildren are struck by teachers each year. I guess that explains why that banjo-laden hellhole is regarded as such a haven of learning.

It's not whether you spank your children or not. It is whether you set rules and stick to them or not. If your kid breaks a rule, punish them. Spank them, ground them, make them do housework, whatever works for your kid. Just be consistent with your rules. That is the most important aspect of parenting.

Sweden also has a generous welfare state that encourages single moms living on welfare. So what you're saying subby is that having that has nothing to do with keeping crime under control.
