A £400,000 fine spends huge...until you realise its two week's wages, then it's just WTF Tevez!!?? You're getting paid more money in a week than I'll earn in a decade to sit on your ass and wait to be sold in January, and you still can't be bothered to show up? And you wonder why soccer players are thought of as spoilt primadonnas?

What are the odds he doesn't even come back to England until he knows his Jan fate?

Anyone who knows Tevez' history shouldn't be surprised at all by any of this. Unfortunately for him, City have enough resources to hold him to his contract and stick him in the reserves until his contract ends. By then he'll be a 30 year old striker with a bad rep who'll have trouble finding the kind of opportunities someone of his talent should entice.

Yeah, this. City should just let him cool his heels until the contract runs out.

I know they have an ass ton of money, but they paid £47 million for him. I would expect they want to recoup at least some of that by reselling him.
