Whew! I thought I was the only one who heard Governor Good Hair say 'oops'... LOL

That's somewhere between hilarious and sad.

2011-11-09 11:55:39 PM
So, what happens to all the money has raised if he bows out?

2011-11-09 11:56:45 PM
Step right up folks, and watch the disappearing Presidential campaign! Stare in wonder as millions of lobbyist dollars and months of 90 hour weeks from aides and staffers vanish into the ether! You'll never see anything like it again!

djkutch: So, what happens to all the money has raised if he bows out?

It goes towards hunting brown people, harassing gays and drilling for oil, duh. :D

2011-11-09 11:58:09 PM
Yup-- this is what happens when you cut funding for education.

Sean Hannity gives Rick Perry a pass.

Then he cups the balls and licks the taint. Mmmmmmm... Frothy.

You better pick the Mormon, ya rubes. This guy is weapons grade retarded.

He's not bowing out. He'll be your GOP nominee.

Truly, Jon Stewart will be judged history's greatest monster tomorrow...

2011-11-10 12:03:19 AM
Actually this is a stroke of genius. By saying he "conveniently forgot", he can later just pick whatever third one he wants at the time he wants to do it, and say "This is what I meant all along!"

/sarcasm.

WTF Indeed: He's not bowing out. He'll be your GOP nominee.

There's a piece of me that hopes one of the Idiot Brigade does get the nomination, because a second "stunning" loss may finally pry off the Idiot Brigade as a demographic to be targeted with such vigor. The party may regain some sensibility and turn back towards center. Not right away--the losses and issues that just got voted on aren't going to give them pause. They are going to have take a good drubbing again for the Presidency before the party's leadership realizes that these folks are liability. They are beginning to realize it, especially in the face of the OWS folks, but a Presidential run with the "bestest and brightest" as these folks are being called that crashes and burns, it will force the leadership to assess their strategy.

And it may be the saving of the party. The sad thing is, that the leadership and party should have done this after the last election, but everyone was far too busy pointing fingers...

Why does anyone object to department of Education?

It'll be Romney. Who, incidentally, is the only human being alive more Kerry than Kerry. It's like Dukakis and McGovern had a baby.

Might explain why he wouldn't debate Bill White.

Because socialism.

2011-11-10 12:11:20 AM
Wow, you guys are all sucked in by the sound bite, how the hell do you all get from day to another? Do you really think that the base voters will care that get forgot the name of a department? If anything the more people bash him because of this the more the base will love him. It's the "Hey he's like us. Sometimes we forget stuff too." You all have the attention span and analogical thinking of a fruit fly.

2011-11-10 12:12:14 AM
If a baseball player gets on-base four-out-of-ten times, he's a "Hall of Famer". If Rick Perry correctly names two-of-the-three departments he wants to eliminate, he's "an idiot".

Right.

Go to hell, libs.

hubiestubert: The party may regain some sensibility

So long as the Democrats lack a supermajority in the Senate, and so long as the Corporatists face minimal opposition in either house, the GOP has zero incentive to reform. They're an elitist authoritarian corporatist party that acts as a foil to the populist authoritarian corporatist party.

Darth_Lukecash: Why does anyone object to department of Education?

It's a symptom of that separation of church and state. The government keeps telling folks that they can't teach "Jesus did it" for EVERYTHING, so the Department of Education HAS to be the work of the Debbil...

Poe's Law lost a lot of charm when it started being serious.

Because they want Wall Street to handle student loans? Considering that's the bulk of what they do.

This asshole really does make even Dubya look like a farking genius in comparison.

The real question I have is: who on earth would tell a guy this TRAGICALLY(and hilariously) TERRIBLE at public speaking to continue this campaign. Where are his friends?? Because he desperately needs one that can just say: "Dude, let it go. Cause it's gone."

And yet the 'tard is the longest serving Governor in the history of Texas. This is why this state is farked

If Mississippians can vote down zygotal personhood, there is hope for Texas.

There are three things I like about Rick Perry: His hair, his accent, and, um...what's the third one there? Hair, accent, and...hmmm, uhhhh, I can't think of the third one. Oops.

For those of you who found George W. Bush too cerebral and erudite.

2011-11-10 01:40:12 AM
Romney's getting the nomination. Should be amusing to watch the remnants of the "Tea Party" with that one.

Rick Perry got RON PAULed! Did you see the smile RON PAUL had when he suggested EPA and Perry went with it? That's the power of RON PAUL people!

Yes, because those two things are so simalar.

Remembering your OWN plans vs. an athletic event with many random varibles.

For the record, his number three is the Department of Energy, the department that maintains our nuclear stockpile. Apparently Perry wants to eliminate our nuclear weapons.

2011-11-10 02:38:12 AM
So what's wrong with those three departments anyway? Not important enough for Republicans?

2011-11-10 03:01:48 AM
usernameguy: For the record, his number three is the Department of Energy

You can understand a Texan forgetting about the Department of Energy. It's not like Texas is a big energy producer or anything.

2011-11-10 03:10:09 AM
fta-One person ready to forgive Perry was rival Herman Cain, who said he didn't view the gaffe as campaign-ending.

"I wouldn't say that," he said. "The American people can be very forgiving Our base is fncking retarded."

2011-11-10 03:28:50 AM
He would also eliminate all non-prime numbers and the letters C, Q and X as redundant.

To be fair, Ron Paul's eyebrows can be quite distracting.

Confabulat: So what's wrong with those three departments anyway? Not important enough for Republicans?

No, they just have trouble remembering 3 things, so eliminating all but 2 things in the country they won't look so stupid.

So....George W Bush was the smart Texan?
