Ric Flair said in his book that David was embarassed about winning the title, and ended up donating the money he made for those appearances to charity. He also (on Ric's advice) came down to the bar and bought everyone drinks.

So at least he handled it well.

His new woman once dated Joe Francis, ffs. She may be hot, but she's definitely not smart.

As long as none of this interferes with Cougar Town (Arquette is/was and executive producer for the show), I don't care.

If he wants to quit talking about his personal life, he should quit going on Howard Stern and talking about it.

He split the money 3 ways - to the families of Brian Pillman and Owen Hart, and to Darren Drozdov who had been paralyzed in the ring not long before that.

He may not have wanted to be Champ, but he definitely went above and beyond when it came to doing the right thing.

Too bad Eric biatch-off and Vince Russo didn't feel equally embarrassed.. That entire ordeal was a disgrace to the business.

Nice headline, subby
