the first time I saw fark advertising for the star wars flashlight, my brain read it as "fleshlight" and I was deeply disturbed. But you'd probably make a mint.

I think they were trying to make fun of it or something? But then when you click on their tagged MP4 link, it brings up all the other reviews they've done for MP4 players, which they call MP4 players.

So I don't know if this is some kind of meta-sarcastic troll or what???

Eh, it's pretty useless, but I'd enjoy owning one anyway, just to have something R2-D2 to show off. And the earbuds are awesome.

On a brighter note, though. I finally got an invite to a beta testing weekend! Woot!!

I am watching the Star Wars RiffTrax by Mike, Bill and Kevin--and Chad Vader, the web celebrity brother of Darth Vader.

Chad Vader really holds up his end of the conversation. I vaguely recall hearing about him in 2009 or sometime, but I had forgotten all about the web show.

The special effects don't seem to be holding up well. Expect remakes in about twenty years. In the meantime, riffing makes stuff like this watchable although I prefer B&W SF and Horror movies from 1950 to 1964.

Is it just me or do the pilots in Star Wars look like a random bunch of nerds and geeks pulled off the autograph line at a SciFi Convention? Did they cast the dog fight scenes with crew members?

Dude! I've been looking for a pic of that for years. I bought one of those back in the day and kept it around my desk as a conversation piece. Wish that I still had it.

What's the point of having 500 songs on an mp3 player if it doesn't have the battery power to even a 5th of them before needing a recharge?
