Photos of the carts? evidence that it happened? For all we know it's the same millions in damage that was caused by the blue painter's tape in Wisconsin.

Remember all... just like police brutality, harassment, and crackdown on civil rights, the actions of the Fleabaggers are just "isolated incidents". Don't forget to pop out great quips like "the plural of anecdote is not data" and "they're only a small minority" and "I refuse to believe that happened even in the face of overwhelming evidence".

Since reactionary activists have been proudly talking about their infiltration of Occupy movements and initiating violence (new window), how do we know any of these people were legitimate protestors instead of agent provocateurs?

I still don't get it. Why are you calling them "Fleabaggers" ? It seems an idiosyncratic designation. Usually a satirical label has some tangential or ironic connection to the population its trying to describe. People use the term "Teabaggers" because those people called themselves the term, brought lots of tea bags to their protests and invoked the spirit of the 'Boston Tea Party.' Is it because they supposedly make corporate executives "itch" or something?

FTFA: And according to one city councilman, bodily fluids were used in the attacks. "Both carts have had items stolen, have had their covers vandalized with markings and graffiti, as well as one of the carts had urine and blood splattered on it," said Councilman Carl DeMaio.

Ah, so the reporter's headline should read "SoCal Street Cart Vendors Hurting After 'Occupy' Group Splatters Blood, Urine, COUNCILMAN SAYS." The reporter is going with one single source for this provocative claim, not specifically verified with the cart owners, and FAILS to attribute the assertion in the headline, thus making it sound like indisputable fact. And has no quotes from any protestors anywhere to either confirm or refute the claims.

That's some real shiatty journalism there, Lou.

I think it is more of a reflection on the typical OWeS protestors hygiene or lack thereof.

Is this surprising? MSM is painting the tea party to be out-of-touch wackadoos in Hoverounds, while at the same time painting OWS as poo-flinging, self-entitled Neanderthals.

What's the one thing the Tea Party and OWS have in common? Okay, the one OTHER thing?

It's an uphill battle on that one.

Like many people who have horrible hygiene and stink to high heaven, it's impossible to convince them that they need a bath. They will fight tooth and nail to keep from just showering on a regular basis.

OWSers will just say, "I shower all the time" while stink lines visibly float off of them.

Ah. I didn't realize that was a common media trope. I've been following the more Midwestern stuff, where Occupy Des Moines and others are talking about taking over Republican and Democratic offices during the upcoming Iowa caucuses (new window). as in "YOU OWES ME MAN!!" seems to be their predominant rallying cry, from student loans to free food.

They are too entitled and too self absorbed to realize that their shiatty little lives have no intrinsic value, so they feel that the very fact they exist means we must coddle them in the manner to which they feel they deserve.

I support their right to protest 100%. I also support being able to mock them for being farking losers 100%. Seems like a fair trade off to me.

They can complain when there's zero jobs. I also hear there's some states that needed farming labor. Crops were going to waste because those unemployed were far too lazy to take them. It's so much easier living off the hard work of your fellow citizens while you protest against them for donations.

Well, unlike the Teabaggers, we have proof they've sent in their own agent provocateurs.

They've posted their exploits on their own blogs for goodness sake, one guy proud he got arrested at the Air and Space Museum in DC because he got to paint the OWS people as thugs trying to cause trouble when he was the only one arrested.

Patrick Howley is an editor at the conservative blog, The American Spectator. He infiltrated Occupy DC to expose how radical they are, but ended up getting pepper sprayed himself for leading a charge into the Air and Space Museum.

Amazing how butthurt OWS supporters are over the "Fleabaggers" label, but they defended calling Tea Partiers "Teabaggers" and laughed about it.

Nice double standard there, and interesting to see who has the thicker skin.

Both groups are whackjobs, but at least the Tea Partiers aren't vandalizing and stopping legitimate businesses (many owned by the "99%" they supposedly care about).

I believe the term was originally coined when 14 Wisconsin senators fled the state to avoid a quorum. Republicans, who took the self-proclaimed term "teabagger" as an insult of the highest order assumed that the negative connotations would stick if they attached "flee" to the beginning and used it against their enemies. It didn't really work, and they didn't understand why, and to this day, some (like our not-so-bright troll Nels here) cling to the word in a hoping that it will catch on while remaining ignorant to the origins of the word. Urban dictionary compares it to the dimly conceived insult "jerk store".
