Ya, the chainsaw wasn't moving before it cut the tip of my cousin's finger off, either.

It makes me wonder what happened to professionalism in the police force. You give someone a weapon, even a non-lethal one, you're not supposed to be firing it unless it's really necessary.
These cops, as well as others, have some damn itchy trigger fingers.

Trying to get a prediction going on the video, I thought for a moment you misspelled "Shill".

Man, that chainsaw gets around. It's like Christine. Maybe it's possessed by Paul Bunyan's first wife, the biatchy one who he cheated on and left with the kids, who went on to become the first Sasquatches and save Thanksgiving (learn your folklore). That f**king thing must be stopped before it strikes again, or given to Moby. Moby's the Anti-Chainsaw, they will cancel each other out in the first puff ever that could be described as "manly-wuss."

1) Posted by the "reporter" ("OMG, I can post this on YouTube and maybe it'll go viral and I can leave this lame ass Fox affiliate")

2)Evansville, IN station - obviously a Kentuckian running the chain saw

3) another goddamn Nexstar station ("Bleeding your local affiliate dry since 2002")

I've been working in the woods, running chainsaws for 40+ years, and bucking up wind-thrown trees is about the scariest saw work there is. This guy is lucky, that can all go way wrong in a hurry.

Yeah he is. Worst accident I ever witnessed was a fellow crewman cutting a blown down tree. He was making a cut from underneath (with one foot placed on the tree) when the tree bucked and before he could react, the saw climbed eight inches up the back of his leg between the muscle and the bone.

He was in physical therapy for quite a while.

I'm looking at that log, and all I can think of is: that would make for some really nice quarter sawn wood.

TREE SHOT BY POLICE
Serial killer tree? Limbs found by investigators

AP-MIRKWOOD, PA

A tense stand-off between police and a local tree ended in violence earlier today as officers opened fire on the lumbering suspect.

Officials say they found the tree in possession of a collection of limbs. Investigators remain stumped by the strange discovery, but a growing chorus of local activists claim the evidence may have been planted.

A witness who saw the brush with the law said, "Had the cops axed a few questions before shooting it, they'd have realized its bark was worse than its bite. It might have seemed a little nuts but was just pining for its ex."

It appears that the tree had deep roots in the community but may have recently branched out into the criminal underground.

I find it odd that if it were a limb he surely would have undercut it first yet he didn't in this situation.

/Let it go, man.
