We should just let her do whatever she wants until she pulls an Amy Winehouse

Way to go California.

Can we sell California to China or something, you know, before they are completely worthless?

As long as she doesn't mow someone down while driving drunk or high, then... yeah.

Put her in a room with enough meth to kill her and that's the end of that.

Yeah, she can mow down as many as she wants while sober.

Why is it always the useless, drugged out celebrities that linger? Too bad we can't trade her in for Chris Farley, Heath Ledger, or any number of other celebrities that were actually contributing something to the entertainment world other than schadenfreude before they kicked it.

At the rate things are going it would be cheaper to hire someone to drive her around 24/7

Ah yes, because all those court clerks, attorneys and judges would just be sitting at home the rest of the year with no pay if Lindsay hadn't come along.

A Terrible Human: Put her in a room with enough meth to kill her and that's the end of that.

Reminds me of a proposal to just give crack heads $1000 worth of crack. The plan should reduce costs for the city by 20x the cost of crack.

Face it, she's doing more to solve the unemployment problem than Obama.

No way is her court and jail situation costing taxpayers anywhere near $250,000 an hour or even $250,000 a decade.

But typical FOX NEWS reports:

Given her years-long saga in the California court system that led to her hours-long incarceration, Lohan could have cost taxpayers over $250,000 per hour of the jail time she just served, experts say. "This should cause an outrage," criminal defense attorney Joey Jackson told Fox411.com.

My experts say, and many people believe, and numerous anonymous sources have reported that FOX NEWS being called a real news source should cause outrage!!!

Reading comprehension fail.

Article says it's $250k per hour of jail time.

TFA is trying to mathematically divide all the time spent in court by the time spent in jail.

Oh come on, now... I saw a combine working a field the other day while I was driving to work. It's definitely harvest time.

Thank you for pointing this out. Its not like those people wouldn't have been paid had Lohan not been f*cking up. There are plenty of other f*ckups in California who would have kept those people busy.

Well at least we will her have her Playmeth spread soon. Maybe at the rate she is going itll be a tribute.

Is it too late to infer that she killed Michael Jackson? There seemed to be jail space ready and available for that.

And what happens when they come back six hours later for ANOTHER grand worth of crack? How long do you think that's going to tide them over before they're fencing stolen hairdryers to buy more rock?

Just let her do drugs. I mean, really.

2011-11-08 01:29:38 PM
So.... how much does it cost to prosecute other offenders?

If the jails are overcrowded and don't have enough funding, then why spend this much money on getting people in there?

That's why you use super pure cocaine to make the crack.

Sounds like total BS.

Yep.

Wow, some serious haters out today. She may be a total loser but she does not manage the court system. Our govt is totally out of control and spends money like Paris Hilton in Vegas.

Well, yes, that would make a difference. Then again, explain how someone who takes 30-40 tylenol-containing Vicodin a day can still have liver function? At some point science will determine that heroin, meth or cocaine or narcotics are, in the right circumstances, immortality agents. How many drug addicted celebrities are there for every drug-related celebrity death? Is it some sort of metric unit, like a Keith Richards (kr) equivalent?

Add the word additional to the sentence and it changes the whole meaning of the context.

Maybe if the court wasn't so soft on her and made her do hard time, the court wouldn't see her again.

Then again...if she hurried up and died, we wouldn't have to read any additional stories about her.

Keep her on the edge until she breaks down and releases the inevitable sex tape, followed by the inevitable deal to make a profit off the tape. Then she can rot in a jail cell as long as anyone cares. It's a conspiracy. Trust me.

Keep that shiat up and you wont have a functioning liver. The difference might be that she could be doing oxy which doesn't have that pesky acetaminophen in it.

The Intervention show I watched said that the addict was taking regular Vicodin 10s, at least 30 a day. 10 would have enough to cause serious liver problems since it's a toxic liver dose. Bizarre to imagine someone recovering from that, especially if all they did was zonk out and veg all day.
