I was tending bar at the Union Bar & Grill in Athens, OH, and a deer casually walked in on a Monday night. It was early in the night but it was a pretty rowdy crowd, and the place went dead silent. The deer turned around and walked outside. Naturally, we followed, and it hopped across the street and jumped through a window of a BW3's and landed on a table full of people who started screaming and running out of the restaurant. A few minutes later the deer hopped out of the window it broke and sent them scattering again. Then it ran off into the darkness.

That was probably the same reaction they would have when confronted with an armed robber... Sheer panic. Justified for a robber. Pure comedy with a 125lb. deer.

True, but the deer's hooves can do a lot of damage too. It's also more likely to attack a person if it's frightened and is in panic mode. The guy was playing it smart.
