So ... Did she ever get the job?????

2011-11-08 10:41:24 AM
As these claims have been rolled out, adding layer upon layer of juicy sexual harassment claims it looks more and more likely that Cain will be cooked. However, i still hope Cain gets served up on a platter for a general election to find himself masticated alive.

2011-11-08 10:41:32 AM
I heard NPR playing a clip of him on Kimmel, this guy really should take his own advice and not talk about it anymore every time he does it sounds bad.

2011-11-08 10:41:43 AM
I hope he advocates the use of electric fences around his campaign to fry any would-be future accusers.

2011-11-08 10:42:25 AM
You want a job, don't you?

2011-11-08 10:42:38 AM
This is the problem with the entitlement generation. They don't want to put in the hard work to get a job. Cain asked this woman point blank, "you want a job, right?" She refused to put in the hard work to achieve that job. She has no one to blame but herself.

2011-11-08 10:43:21 AM
Considering the logical problems with the girls story, her financial troubles and the fact that she sought out Gloria Alred, I'd say Cain has some pretty strong footing.

2011-11-08 10:43:44 AM
Hermain Cain's big, black moral center is going to stroke any question of wrongdoing until it sits a quivering, satisfied jelly on the floor of his afro-pad.

Are we up to 5 women now? I honestly can't keep track... However many, Cain does need to shut up; every time he talks about it he just sounds worse

CanisNoir: her financial troubles

The GOP in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen. It's not molestation as long as the "victim" is poor.

Herman Cain - "I hear that black men have less credibility when it comes to rape raping white ladies."

2011-11-08 10:44:56 AM
I'm adding some new "I hear . . . " statements that would be appropriate on the thread that was put up over the weekend. Here they are:

"I hear you want a job. Don't you?" --Herman Cain

and/or . . .

"I hear you, baby. Shakin' that thang." --Herman Cain

I'd agree with you if it weren't for the other three claims.

In her defense, the job creators haven't exactly been creating jobs lately. Hoarding historic amounts of cash, yes, creating jobs, no.

That's the thing, I watched this woman's press conference and it screamed attention whore to me. But if this is true or not, it's going to torpedo any legitimate chance he had at the nomination.

Which on one hand sucks that a persons political career can be effectively ended because of a sex scandal that may or may not be true or have any legitimacy on their ability to legislate. On the other hand, I certainly won't be sorry to see Cain go.

Who is he bothering trying to convince? people who are outside of the "conservative" echo chamber already think he is a sexual harasser and either care or don't and the people inside the echo chamber blame any criticism on any of their chosen candidates as part of the liberal media conspiracy. It's a bad idea to bother addressing this at all.

Strong footing? His unfavorables are skyrocketing. Damage has been done, and this circus is now going to go on for media cycle after media cycle. Don't you see? Innocent or guilty, it doesn't matter. Cain needed to be reminded of his place and now his Uncle Tom ass is going to get smacked down Alan Keyes style.

Meh, fark him. Americans are too stupid and need to be hand-held into the appropriate decisions, by hook or by crook.

I'm betting on the "the biatch was asking for it" defense. It's about the only one Cain hasn't tried yet.

We don't want to see Cain's birth certificate; we'd like to see the NRA records of his sexual harassment cases.

coeyagi: the job creators haven't exactly been creating jobs lately. Hoarding historic amounts of cash, yes, creating jobs, no.

That's because the feminists think they don't have to give it up for jobs any more. That's right, I said what everyone else was thinking, but was afraid to say -- feminists caused this recession.

One suit is a mistake or an anomaly.

Two can be coincidence.

Three, and you've got the start of a pattern.

By four and five, you've got pathology.

How many suits do you need to establish that a man has a problem?

So, instead of her accusation that instead of just calling him up and asking him if he could help her find employment, she went to Washington to see him, didn't question his upgrading her hotel room, had drinks the lobby before being taken out to a dinner, where instead of waiting until they were back in her hotel room, he made a move on her in the car like a high school kid, what evidence do you have that what she said actually happened? Oh, right, none. Because, instead of telling her boyfriend the specifics on the night in question when she was traumatized, she waited fifteen years, got in touch with one of the most spotlight friendly hack lawyers and told the world; while insisting she didn't "really want to be there".

Sorry, but baseless accusations are just that, baseless accusations.

If nothing else, the sheer number of lawsuits indicates that this man is incapable of adapting his behavior even when he is told what he is doing is inappropriate (if not illegal)

I think it's pretty clear that Herman Cain is a first class sleaze bag.
And the harassment charges are most likely true.
But they would be the least of all reasons disqualifying him from being president.

Can we just admit it? White women are fetishized by black men for obvious cultural reasons. We're not going to lose our neophile badges or DNC membership cock rings.

I hope Cain goes with that excuse. "It wasn't harassment, I was just a married man looking for a little on side, all 4 times."

They aren't anonymous. All the parties to the settlement (including Cain) know the names of the victims.

Maybe they aren't as tall as his wife, and feel inadequate.
