An "impressive Chinese fry cook" would be a guy stir-frying up a plate Szechuan beef in a minute or less with a cast-iron wok, 2 tablespoons of peanut oil, and what amounts to the culinary equivalent of a jet engine. This is not that. If you want to see impressive Asian cooking, go watch Anthony Bourdain's No Reservation episodes from East Asia or Singapore.

Yet I still remain unimpressed with the whole culinary/chef thing. He is putting an egg over some heat.

That guy made a lot of noise with his cooking implements, but still you can see egg bits left behind in the area he's supposedly tidying up with all that activity, and then the rapid fire cutting certainly sounds impressive, but you notice the food going pretty much everywhere, including flying right off the Hibachi. Plus, he likes Flock of Seagulls.
