(WSAZ) Asinine This story demonstrates why you don't take the 12 year old step-grandkid out drinking with you: he can't drive you home and he sure doesn't have your back   (wsaz.com) divider line 14

Interesting. I didn't know you could take your kids into bars. I thought it was a blanket rule.

Guy looks a little young to have a 12 year old grandson. Oh, they live in a trailer park; keep those stereotypes alive white trash!

Oh please. I hung out in bars every weekend when I was a kid, it didn't have any negative effect on me. It actually made me not want to drink, after seeing how stupid people became after drinking. And as others have mentioned they serve drinks everywhere. Are you going to ban children from Applebees unless parents show ID proving the kids are theirs? And what ID shows that certain kids are yours? Do Ohio drivers licenses have not only your picture but all your kid's picture's on them too?

That boy is awesome.

I tell my friends that if I ever see them committing a crime on crime stoppers, I'm turning them in.

There is a gap in that story. The kid does the tuck and roll, (nicely done, btw) then grandpa's in cuffs. Did the kid call? Were there witnesses? Did Gramps hang around trying to get the kid back in the jeep or did they need to track him down? Was Pops pissed or remorseful?

Reporting sucks these days.

We have a lot of bar and grills within walking distance of my house. On nice days me and my 3 and 7 year old boys take a walk up to one where we have pizza or burgers, they play the jukebox and games while I eat and have a few drinks before we walk back home.

It's a great way to get outside, and the boys get some exercise and fun playing around, and I get to have a few drinks. Fun for everyone!

/taking the Jeep next time
