A person should be able to use their Rascal shiatfaced. It's in the Constitution. At least it was the framer's intent.

That's why I just drunkenly stumble through my local parks. That and it's more fun to drunkenly drive through them with the pedestrians and bikes out in full force.

What kind of 'scooter'? The skateboard with a steering handle, the electric wheelchair, or the step-through motorcycle? Only the third kind should get a DUI. Giving one for the second would be a violation of the ADA and his right to mobility. Giving one for the first is just 'tarded.

Yeah, I've always felt that giving DUI's on things that don't require drivers' licenses is kinda sketchy....

Pisses me off that you can get a DUI on a regular bicycle. Which will, you know, get your driver's licence taken away...because you rode a bicycle. Why not start taking people's licences away for being driven home when they're too drunk to drive? Oh wait, it has happened.

Even the source report doesn't say. But the guy apparently did try to run the cop over with it, so it at least had a motor. However, the guy got off it, parked, and ran into his house, so he's got some kind of foot mobility. I'm guessing it was one of those wannabe motorcycle-type scooters, or else the guy is one of those fatties who uses an "electric wheelchair" because he's too "disabled" (read: fat) to walk around like a normal person.
