Came expecting Rob Ford. Leaving disappointed.

Veteran political strategist Alan Hallman added his voice to the Twitter chorus Saturday, offering the following advice to the mayor: "Naheed you should be above this pettyness (sic). Your (sic) the mayor of the best city in the world and we expect better."

It's an extremely sad commentary on our society that a so-called veteran political strategist is borderline illiterate. Twitter is really making the world see how stupid even professional people can be without editors.

I strongly object to this.

I don't think Rob Ford would dare make fun of anyone on meds. Judging by his behavior, he's jacked up on something pretty much all the time (he's also a known substance abuser). No one is that manic without them.

I'm so sick of this warm and fuzzy shiat. They should take a bobcat down to Olympic plaza and scoop all that garbage into a truck.

These losers lost their credibility about when they were asking for condoms for the Free Love day, and parading around signs stating to drop acid, not bombs.

And don't get me wrong, I'm all about the acid and getting laid; I just chose to do that kind of thing in my own domain. That I paid for. Because I have a job.

As someone frequently off my meds, I irritates me to no end how you no longer say something without somebody being offended.

Two things here - yes, I was expecting Rob Ford as well. Second, my son can be that manic not on anything, but only when he is ... off his meds.... (go figure).

That being said, it's stupid to get into a twitter dickwaving insult competition as a politician. Mind you not quite as stupid as going to a homeless shelter while drunk and berating the homeless and throwing money on the floor, but getting there.

Same here. Kinda sad when you hear about a Mayor getting foot-in-mouth disease, seeing that it is a Canadian link, and immediately thinking it is him.
