I can't really see the Bears winning this unless Vick goes down and Forte goes nuts.

DamnYankees: I can't really see the Bears winning this unless Vick goes down and Forte goes nuts.

Michael Vick has always sucked against the Bears. And beating Dallas does not make you suddenly unstoppable. Not to mention the Eagles are giving up 5 yards a carry.

Also, they have two rookie kickers, and it's a prime-time game. You all know what that means.....

It should be entertaining. Especially if the Eagle's o-line performs like they did last week.

I didn't find any for just Cutler, but total sacks is just 5-

Bears vs Eagles - Total Sacks by Both Teams
Total Sacks- - o5 (-140)
Total Sacks- - u5 (+110)

Even though I didn't have any vested interest in last night's Ravens/Steelers game, it'll be hard to top that one.

This is a much-improved Eagles team from last year. Vick has a lot more weapons at his disposal. Also, the game last year was in Chicago. Eagles are home this year.

If there's one thing going for the Bears, it's that the Eagles give up turnovers. Otherwise, man, this might be a tough one.

Go Bears.

This is going to be an ugly, ugly game.... I almost can't watch it...

I bet my best friend (bastard Steelers fan) that the Bengals will beat the Steelers on Sunday. I'm liking my chances.

Put me down as thinking it will be an ugly game but probably will be entertaining. It will likely come down to which OLine hates their QB the least.

And it is on WCIU. WTF? Yeah, I am sure your stupid shows will have better ratings than a Bears game... Idiots. Remember when NBC aired some dancing show finale instead of the Stanley Cup finals? Again, the game was on WCIU instead (and it killed NBC in the ratings).

I am still trying to figure out why a Penn State kiddie rape thread hasn't gone green. Is that not something we can discuss around here?

2011-11-07 07:41:01 PM
OK, rooting for a 3-0 Bears win featuring more interceptions than even Antonio Alfonseca can count.

2011-11-07 07:41:03 PM
For about the first time this year, the outcome of the Monday night game will not affect my Fantasy team, so I can just relax and watch football rather than rooting for a player on the offense to have a big game, while the opposing defense also has a big game.

Under 47

Some prop bets tonight:

Longest TD will be OVER 46.5 yards (-110)
Will LeSean McCoy score a TD? NO (+168)

DamnYankees: I can't really see the Bears winning this unless Vick goes down and Forte goes nuts.

Wut?

Go back and look at the last few years, it's been a while since the Eagles beat the Bears, and the Eagles have been shameful against them in prime time of late.

I'll look it up in a moment, still setting up supplies for the game.

I fully expect my Eagles to blow it, this is the kind of game they love to lose.

2011-11-07 07:47:42 PM
Eagles 1-3 against the Bears in the last 4 years, and favorites going into every contest.

19-16, Bears win in 07
24-20, Bears in 08
24-20, Eagles in 09
31-26 Bears last year

You seem very interested in kiddie rape.

But, regardless, I'm pretty sure I read that thread on fark two or three days ago. Give me a minute and I'll post a link.

The team that commits the fewest turnovers will have the best chance to win tonight.

What? There's always some dumbass commentator that says that for every game as if it took him or her hours of statistical analysis to determine.

All right. I can do this. I can simultaneously watch this game, deal with #2 being loud (he is the official #1 Iggles Fan),
drink beer, edit 2 papers, keep up with the thread, and at some point put the kids to bed. Right?

Right?

Let's go Eagles, please don't choke tonight....

Usually, same dumbass commentator will say something about needing to score points to win. "Well, Chuck, if they want to win, they need to put some points on the board." Well, no shiat.

That farking play by play announcer annoys me.

"Handoff to Brown. Gain of 3 yards."
"Vick steps back in the pocket and passes to Lewis...for a first down."
"And the Giants bring out their punt team."

They should talk more about auxilliary info like what hospitals the 2nd string tight end visited during the offseason, rather than presenting factual information about the game I am interested in.
