This man is clearly a responsible gun owner, and I am outraged that stadium officials won't allow people like this to carry weapons inside the stadium.

If everybody carried a gun, this would have never happened.

What kind of a moron brings their gun to a football game?

This isn't Oakland, for fark's sake...

So that's what happened to the Pats yesterday!

This moron had to read the ticket to find out that guns were not allowed in the footbal stadium? Common sense = not so common any more,,,,,,,,,,,,

when he checked the back of his ticket and saw firearms were prohibited at the Foxboro venue

Really? He had to check the back of the ticket to see if firearms are prohibited... at a professional sporting event... where people fight over whose team's shirt you are wearing?

Yes, really. Many states allow this if you've got a CCW.

My favorite part is the stock photo of Redcoats shooting muskets on the side there.

Those aren't "red coats" They're Colonial Minutemen (or, rather, folks dressed up like them) who fire their muskets whenever the Patriots score.

If this doofus had been allowed to bring his gun into the stadium he would probably have shot someone else in the leg.

These gun guys all think after the fact: "If [crime victim] had been armed, [perp] would be dead." Never mind that being armed at the crucial moment means being armed all the time, and are we all really safer when guys like this doofus are armed all the time?
