And what happens if there's a software glitch? Real service dogs do a few more things than going up or down two steps.

Damn that things loud. Eventually someone will make ones that work, but it looks like its gonna be a while.

I know a guy who has the worst guide dog ever. Gina fails to account for him being on her left and tries to enter a hallway on the left side. She's always walkng him into walls that way. One time she had him halfway across the street & he wasn't trying to cross.

Uh, Felix_T_Cat? I think your friend is got bigger problems than a poor guide dog (unless you are doing a bit I'm not familiar with)

Guide dogs are usually on the left, not the handler - at least the ones I've known.
