Who wants to see a Christmas movie November 6? It's bad enough that I was at the mall today and all the Christmas decorations are up and Christmas carols are playing in all the department stores. Too soon!

I think its another case of "saw the trailer, saw the movie", with a bunch of comedy has-beens in a contrived plot. In other words, anything Adam Sandler has done in the last 15 years.

Also, I didn't even realize that had been released. Not much (at all) in the way of advertising for it. I knew it existed, but I figured it would come out next month or something logical like that.

Not ready for freaking Christmas. As it is, I'm still suffering from not having Halloween due to snow. Has everyone forgotten that Thanksgiving is in the middle of the two?

Tower Heist wasn't that bad. We laughed quite a bit and the cast was good. Its storyline was a bit cathartic in these times and there was a lot of clapping.

There are no Shrek references in the movie and it's really good

I enjoy the irony of people comparing Tower Heist to Oceans 11. "Tower Heist is so unoriginal; I liked it better when it was Oceans 11. Now there's an original movie!"

Puss in Boots is its own thing and was pretty good (just got back from seeing it).

I do recall Puss in boots being the better part of Shrek 2. I mostly just dislike Dreamwork's animated films. Too much of it is "Hey, remember [other, better film]? That's the joke."

If neither of those suit you, go see In Time. Just saw it tonight and it was great.
