I disagree with the author's belief that Obama is not a Muslim. Born to a muslim father, educated in a madrassah, college education paid for by mysterious benefactors (the Saudis?)... it all adds up to Barry being a muslim inflitrator.

I do agree with the author when he states that Obama hates everything about America. Hussein Obama hates our traditions, our history, and everything that made us great. In one year we can send Barry and Chewbacca back to Chicago or Kenya and start restoring this country. We are at war with the left. They want to destroy us. We must win this war.

And the GOP shills here support the tea party and honestly believe that the OWS folks are the crazy ones.

See, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum...and one night, one night they decide they don't like living in an asylum any more. They decide they're going to escape! So, like, they get up onto the roof and there, just across this narrow gap, they see the rooftops of the town, stretching away in the moonlight...stretching away to freedom. Now, the first guy, he jumps right across with no problem. But his friend, his friend daredn't make the leap. Y'see...y'see, he's afraid of falling. So then, the first guy has an idea...He says 'Hey! I have my flashlight with me! I'll shine it across the gap between the buildings. You can walk along the beam and join me!' B-but the second guy just shakes his head. He suh-says... he says 'What do you think I am? Crazy? You'd turn it off when I was half way across!'

Now I support the Tea Party in general, or at least many of their stated goals, however, after reading that article, I cannot even fathom where to begin in pointing out it's stupidity. The first three quarters of it do nothing but attack Obama for issuing a statement regarding a Muslim holiday but not one for Easter and he uses this as evidence of what exactly? Nothing. I mean it sure sounded like he was making a case for Obama being a Muslim but then at the three quarters mark he says "Do I think he's a Muslim? No." Okay then Mr. Brilliant, what the hell was all that at the beginning for then??
Also makes me wonder if he realizes that this administration is very PR Centered, and that they believe we are in a PR War with Islamofascists and therefore might go out of their way to 'woo' them?

Then there's the whole tirade of "He hates everything about America". No, he doesn't. He believes it is broken and needs fundamental change. Now I agree with him on that, but we disagree with where it's broken and what needs to be changed, however, that does not mean that either I or the President, 'hate' this country. Is Obama more of a Globalist who does not believe in American Exceptionalism? Yes, I do believe he is, and that puts us at odds, which is why I didn't and wont vote for him. Granted, it's not the only reason, but one of them, and it also colors many of his decisions.

If Obama 'hated' America, he would not have authorized the violation an allies sovereignty to kill Bin Laden, nor would he have kept the troops in Iraq as long as he had, nor would he have expanded our role in Afghanistan, using the Bush "Surge" method to get a handle on the situation. He would not have escalated the amount of drone attacks nor allowed him SHS to institute even more draconian policies regarding flight travel than Bush did. Obama has not hesitated to sacrifice individual liberty for the safety of the country, and that, to me, does not signify someone who hates the US.

H. P. Lovecraft on Republicans

"As for the Republicans - how can one regard seriously a frightened, greedy, nostalgic huddle of tradesmen and lucky idlers who shut their eyes to history and science, steel their emotions against decent human sympathy, cling to sordid and provincial ideals exalting sheer acquisitiveness and condoning artificial hardship for the non-materially-shrewd, dwell smugly and sentimentally in a distorted dream-cosmos of outmoded phrases and principles and attitudes based on the bygone agricultural-handicraft world, and revel in (consciously or unconsciously) mendacious assumptions (such as the notion that real liberty is synonymous with the single detail of unrestricted economic license or that a rational planning of resource-distribution would contravene some vague and mystical 'American heritage'...) utterly contrary to fact and without the slightest foundation in human experience? Intellectually, the Republican idea deserves the tolerance and respect one gives to the dead."

FTFA:President Obama infuriates those who believe in American exceptionalism.

He once said: "I believe in American exceptionalism just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."

That's the Obama we elected. I hope more of that original Obama will come out in his second term, if he gets one.

Wait wait, let me guess, OWS isn't hateful at all... no way, no hate there... right? Oh oh... let me try again, their hate is "justified"? Just like back when liberals were spitting blood and venom at Bush... well, he was bad... He did bad things! It was fine to be a hate mongering zealot then! But now, if you don't worship at the altar of Obama or dislike him for not being liberal enough... You're a hate mongering racist! For no good reason!

Well, if you're going to remove the cause and effect from everything, yes, you're right! It's all the same.

Of course, Obama didn't start a needless war that helped destroy our nation's economic health while killing thousands of Americans for no good reason, and we actually waited for Bush to fark up before we started biatching, but other than that, yea, it's exactly the same.

Where were these guys back in September 2008?

Eid al-Adha, 2008

I send greetings to Muslims around the world celebrating Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice.

Eid al-Adha commemorates Abraham's devotion to God, and it reminds us of God's mercy and provision for his people. Abraham's deep faith was Tested when God asked him to sacrifice his son. Although Abraham was set to faithtully obey, God provided an alternate sacrifice that spared his son. During this holiday, Muslims around the world honor Abraham's trust in God and celebrate God's love through acts of charity and joyous feasts with family, friends, and others in their community.

Our Nation is blessed by vibrant Muslim communities. On this holiday, all Americans celebrate our religious liberty, and we remember that religious freedom belongs not to any one nation but to the world.

Laura and I send our best wishes for a blessed holiday.

GEORGE W. BUSH

Yeah it's wrong. If the two groups could work together we could get rid of alot of the crooks. The problem is for every one right wing article that accurately points out a real problem with Obama, we get twenty "He hates America" articles like this one and I automatically jump into internet snark mode.

I guess a big problem was since the beginning, I've always associated birtherism and other fake outrages as primary planks of the tea party platform, since most of the tea partiers I know still don't want to cut defense and do other things that would hep reduce spending, and instead just biatch about Obama's character. If they would drop the "He's a communist" and other talking points that are clearly false, I would take them more seriously.

The Teabaggers don't give a shiat about any of their 'points.' It's all a way for them to retain their bigotry under the guise of acting for the 99%. At their heart, they're pissed about two things: that Dubya was an awful president who farked America over, and that the Democrats (in the Teabagger mindset) showcased this by putting up a black guy and winning. Not only did the Baggers have to deal with backstepping away from a presidency that they used to beat everybody over the head with, but then they got their racial delusions farked with. So now they biatch and whine about 'usurpers' because they got biatchslapped by reality.
