Liotta as Batman?

Would pay to see that.

If you've seen Something Wild, Liotta was the best thing in the film and his performance is very similar to the characterization that Burton/Keaton brought to the 1989 film.

Like the quote says, you can play an iconic superhero now and use it as a springboard, but that wasn't the case years ago, when you became the superhero and little else.

Uwe Boll has confirmed that the film will have a time travel story where Dolph Lundgren will play a former military officer who is attacked by ninjas and sent through a time vortex where he gets stuck in medieval times. Boll has also gone on to confirm that a dragon will be included in the film.

Plot is too bad for even Mr. Im not Batman apparently.

Good actors do Boll movies because he pays them fairly well for a very tight production schedule.

Now the guy's got Robin as a partner. Any problems, he goes to Robin. Trouble with Gotham? He can go to Robin. Trouble with the Joker, Killer Croc... Batman, he can call Robin. But now the guy's gotta come up with Robin's money every week, no matter what. Arkham opened it's doors? Fark you, pay me. Oh, you got frozen by Mr. Freeze? Fark you, pay me. Place got hit by Clayface, huh? Fark you, pay me.

No kidding. Goodfellas is as good as the day it came out, and Burton's Batman is a painfully dated piece of sh*t I still wish I could wipe from my memory. In fairness, I hated Burton's Batman from the beginning because it wasn't The Dark Knight Returns.

...and whoever brought Prince in for the Batman soundtrack shout be shot.

Hoping Ray Liotta's next starring role is...in me!

Probably not. The legend goes that Burton couldn't afford Nicholson, so Nicholson did it for scale and a percentage of the profits (that's how he got paid millions for doing Joker), because Nicholson saw a marketing blitz in the Batman franchise. Meanwhile, Scorcese had a big budget, and a relatively unknown Liotta (but still sriding his Field of Dreams clout) was about to burst on the scene with a Scorcese flick starring alongside DeNiro, Pesci, etc. There would never have been a moment's hesitation if I were in his place.

Keaton was and will always be the best Batman.
