you might want to start preparing yourself....his leg was amputated due to diabetes complications a few months ago. he's still alive and looks and sounds healthy, but.....yeah, my first thoguth when i saw the headline was that leslie pasted.

he (leslie) was in either this months' or last month's "Vintage Guitar" mag, in part addressing his health. but mainly pimping his signature guitar (Dean).

Sad shiat right there. Incredibly underrated guitarist, it's not right that the only thing Mountain is known for is Mississippi Queen.

That's an odd coincidence, I just finished making an MP3 from my vinyl copy of Ian and Sylvia's "So Much for Dreaming".

I've got a head full of 60s to mid-80s musical trivia and I've never heard of the guy.

this is the first time I've ever heard of his being a writer on that song... Funny, it was just entered in Wiki too... I've known that song for 30+ years and never even heard of Rea. Oh well, RIP anyway.

How can that be a song? It's odd but weirdly creepy in a fake way. Good read though if you like commie scares
