The creeping fog - wasn't that one of the super villians with Chairface Chippendale in The Tick?

I miss that show.

It's the end of the world as we know it,
It's the end of the world as we know it,
It's the end of the world as we know it,
And I feel fine...

Hm. And what sort of frog egg would survive the impact? Mutant nigh-invulnerable frogs? Beware...
2003-10-02 10:36:55 AM
she's gonna let unknown eggs hatch? sounds like a horror movie plot to me. "The Thing that ate New England"
2003-10-02 10:37:07 AM

2003-10-02 10:41:39 AM
I swear I read 'FOG STORM' not 'Frog Storm'

I kept wondering how Fog could storm. It just kind of creeps in and settles, like smelly old Uncle Chad at the family reunion.

Bullfrogs keep falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those Bullfrogs are falling on my head, they keep falling

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those Bullfrogs are falling on my, head they keep falling

But there's one thing I know
The greens he sends to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Bullfrogs keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Crying's not for me
Cause I'm never gonna stop the frogs by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me

Tiny, gelatinous eggs hit with such force they sounded like hail, but did not splatter all over the place? If said eggs were light enough to be transported for hundreds of miles on winds of 70 to 90 mph, I doubt they would make much noise on impact.

I think this dude did too much LDS.

I lived in Germany near the Mosel River valley for a while. In the spring the frogs would be so think on the roads to the valley floor my car would actually slide around the curves--just as if I were hitting black ice. After a few days of all the drivers crushing migrating frogs, the stench of frog guts, pungent, to say the least.

``I'm going to let them sit and see what happens,'' D'Agata said Wednesday.

I liked Magnolia its a good movie to watch when you're feeling low and just want to feel a little bit lower. I like to follow it up with Leaving Las Vegas for a super downer afternoon or evening.

I, for one, welcome our new amphibious overlords.

/am I first to say this?
2003-10-02 11:10:26 AM
I think I'll be original and say:

Oh, and I agree that this sounds like some twisted sci-fi thriller. It would only be better if a kid found the eggs and let them hatch innocently in his aquarium and then they could overtake his body and eat his family.

Or something.
