Tried to watch Precious last weekend. I could only understand about half of the words she was saying. Turned it off about a third of the way in.

Pretty rare that you see someone like her make it big in the movies. It would really be something if she managed to avoid the stereotypical fat, sassy black chick roles and actually build herself a respectable career in Hollywood.

Is she really a biatch? I never heard that. I've only seen her in Precious, where she was every bit as miserable and abused as she was supposed to be.

It would be nice if she could become a real actress, something other than sassy black woman. Against the odds and all that. I didn't think it could happen because of her ENORMOUS FATNESS.

Dumb-Ass-Monkey: I like her. She doesn't fall in to the usual trappings of fame. She's a b*tch and proud of it. No fake TV persona. She is who she is, and very few people in Hollywood can say that.

Yet, most actresses can be biatches as a defense mechanism to fend off thousands of horny fan-boys. I can only imagine her biatchiness is like when you try and take the food bowl from actual biatch.

She probably doesn't think she's a biatch and has more of a "I'm just a diva" mentality like common african american women tend to think of themselves. FYI: You can't be a diva with your face shining from KFC grease.

She was really great in Black Sunday.

Apos: She was superb in Precious . Subject matter makes it a difficult movie to watch more than once,though.

Mo'Nique's Oscar is probably up there with "most deserving ever".
