The polls throughout the race have shown Beshear heavily favored to win re-election - such as one out this week from the Louisville Courier-Journal, with Beshear ahead of Williams by a margin of 54%-29%.

Not surprising... this Williams guy sounds like a intolerant shiat bag.

American Republican Christians- eternally oppressed. Eternally the victims.

God Bless America? Naw, naw, naw. Not God Bless America. God Damn America! That's in the Bible. For killing innocent people. God Damn America for treating us citizens as less than human. God Damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and she is Supreme.

At this point it's pretty clear he's not going to be. So he's switching to Plan B: shoring up the talking points for the fine folks back in the 16th District.

Keep in mind, the real mainstay of local Republicans leans much more towards "Yay Jesus!" than "OMG Socialism!" Williams already had to knock off the Tea Party candidate to get his shot at Bashear. He's got to turn around and reinforce his home support to keep the upcoming statewide slaughter from ending his political career.

I want Republicans who claim to be all about Jesus, explain exactly what they do that is in line with the teachings of Jesus.

All they do is accuse other people of not being Jesusy enough and only claim to give a shiat about Jesus when they aren't going to be questioned about it.

Going it church doesn't mean squat if you're not actually trying to help anyone but people with money to donate to you.

Anybody else find this statement especially chilling:

"I just brought to people's attention that it's rather odd that a governor...climbed down in a pit and to do a Hindu prayer," Williams said.

I'm not quite sure why, but something about the phrasing just makes me nervous. Trying to make it seem demonic and evil, perhaps? Unnatural and even satanic? I'm sure he used that phrasing deliberately, "climbing down into the pit" and I think that the point is to ensure people think HINDUS ARE BELOW CHRISTIANS and not in a good way.

"Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
