I remember reading about something similar involving two non-famous people. In the process of trying to collect child support from the father of her child who was under the age of consent, she was charged and convicted of statutory rape.

The mother didn't get any jail time but she was then a convicted child sex offender, so the boy and his parents then won custody of the child because the mother was a child sex offender.

So ... when's the paternity test?

The age of consent in most states is 16...so there is no statutory rape. She was only 3 yrs older.

Only a prosecutor looking for publicity would even bring such a case forward. CA courts and justice system are so overloaded that, even if they convicted the alleged baby mom, she would walk free....and not be classified as a sex offender

And, a criminal prosecution of the woman would mean that Bieber would be forced to testify about EVERYTHING...and I doubt he and his people want to do that. This issue is also why he and his people will never sue this woman for libel and false claims

It all has to be state-by-state, but according to this article there's precedent in California for a 34-year-old woman getting child support from the 15-year-old kid she raped:

If it's his kid, then he will have to pay. The Rape charges are not related. Technically (and laughably i guess) the support payments "belong to" the child. That's why you can't avoid paying even tho your biatch ex-wife refuses to let you see the kid. It's the kid's money.
