As a side note, I grew up as Jew in Russia, and after 20 years living and traveling around the US, I can honestly say that I've never seen any real anti-semitism here. It isn't jokes or stereotypes, or a lack of support for Israel. It's beatings, murders, and a systematic exclusion from most institutions.

Yeah, it's pretty good to be a Jew in the US now, compared to most other places and times. My great-grandparents came here from Belarus, and their parents were killed in pograms. There is still some dislike (I had a neighbor once yell at me that my people caused the stock market crash), but usually nothing too bad. And I'd rather be a Jew here than any other minority.
