Dammit I hate how ABCNews pages with video auto-play. They need to fix that, very annoying.

Republicans hate women. Why is this surprising?

2011-11-04 09:47:19 AM
Wow, imaging if he just went full out and raped a woman. They'd probably cancel the primaries and anoint him the nominee.

If that were true, they would have declared Glenn Beck king by now.

Polling well with the base is one thing...

2011-11-04 10:01:21 AM
It won't be the scandal that will sink his approval numbers. It will be his flailing reaction to it.

A) she was probably asking for it
B) Liberal media
C) racism

Honestly, I'm not sure Cain even wants the nomination. As many pundits, including Republican ones, have noted, his campaign has no infrastructure set up in key battleground and early voting states...

Many folks have noted that his campaign looks more like a publicity/book tour meant to increase his brand and name recognition, not a serious presidential campaign.

He's probably happy the sexual harassment reports came out... He's been a prominent feature of the news cycle ever since.

In short, he's Donald Trump without the stupid hairdo (but he does wear a stupid hat).

This probably also explains Newt's recent rise in the polls/rise of his pole.

Typical of closeted, self hating homosexuals.

the sinking of his pole was the real problem

Libs just don't get Cain's sense of humor.

Its just Herman being Herman! Lighten up, you prudes.

That's fine, it tanked his Indie support.

Exactly. When he say's that should electrify fences to kill illegal immigrants he's just joking. Cain: "Seriously though, they should probably electrify the fences."

Just like when he says to an employee that they should come up to his hotel room at a conference, he's just messing around. "But seriously, here's a key, come up to my room or you're fired". "Just kidding, lighten-up". "But you don't want to keep your job right?". "Just kidding". "Bring lube".

I hope you're not trying to compare a consensual act between two adults with a sexual harassment case, because that would be rather silly.

2011-11-04 11:15:51 AM
Please, please, please nominate him. Oh god, please.

No such thing as bad press.

/Or something

1. He's dropping out before he can actually win/lose anything. It wouldn't surprise me if there weren't some big revelations coming from his own campaign. (He's in it to sell more books). He's probably trying to look like an idiot, running a joke of a campaign. The problem is he's just as surprised as any of us that he's being taken seriously by the GOP.

2. Where are the the "Impeach Clinton people now?"

3. He'll win, be unelectable by the general election and the GOP clears the decks of all joke candidates since they know that they cannot win in 2012.

Felgraf: Please, please, please nominate him. Oh god, please.

I certainly would like to see how the more overt racists react to a black man vs black man presidential nominee. Will we see a voter turn-out with more votes for 3rd party candidates and/or write-ins or will we see an even lower overall voter turn-out, particularly in the more stereotypically racist states?

I knew playing the victim was a big deal for conservatives but I'm a little surprised that it trumps even the apperance of having values.

Proof that republicans loves them some ignorance. Forget the sex scandal, Cain fears a China that may someday have nuclear weapons which it could possibly arm Uzbeckybeckystanstan with.

But if Cain wins how can I vote for a white person to prove I am not a racist (because I only vote for black people because I have "white guilt")?

Republicans have shown me that me voting 95% for white people my entire life means I hate white people!

2011-11-04 11:24:39 AM
This came up on Diane Rehm this morning. Some angry dude called in all "I'm not a Herman Cain supporter but I'm turning into one because you libby reporters are JUST SO MEAN TO HIM!"

Like that would matter to the people on that show.

That's what I am saying Perry needs to shoot Romney during the debate. He would then be a shoo-in for the nomination.

They are related for sure but what is the point of comparing the two?

Wait you haven't noticed the troll brigade furiously but-but-Clinton-ing Cain threads as fast as their fat little sausage fingers can type?

2011-11-04 11:27:52 AM
Well, they already didn't like Romney, and some believe Limbaugh is right that this was leaked by Romney's camp.

Some found Perry lacking and don't really want to vote for another idiot Texan, so they find yet another reason to jump ship from his camp.

That, and America loves the underdog.

Clinton had I Never Inhaled, Whitewater, and Jennifer Flowers that actually galvanized support behind him for his first election.

This attack bullshiate just galvanizes the base and gains independents who don't support (or trust) the bullshiate attack tactics.

Apparently they wish to nominate the candidate that annoys libs the most. Right now that is Cainer.

2011-11-04 11:29:08 AM
There is a bigger problem than the sexual harassment. If he put the moves on at least 3 employees and didn't get anywhere, he might have a hard time with closing. Always be closing. Unless they can produce an employee that he actually Farked, he probably doesn't have the goods to beat Obama.

It's total "my team" outlook. To them politics is a sport, it doesn't matter if they are bad or good or even what they do so much. If they identify with the person then they take their side even if they think the person is wrong.

I love how asking Cain to explain the matter is considered an "attack" on him but then Democrats were being asked to resigned on less than this.

No kidding. Clinton had a bunch of challenges he overcame and successes as governor that he could point to as governor of Arkansas.

What does Cain have? I fired a bunch of people and improved the company's numbers? That won't fly in a general election in this economy.

Whitewater came two years after he was elected and nobody gave a shait about a candidate smoking weed.

Good. He stands no chance against Obama. Push him to the top of the GOP pile. Take Romney down at the primary stage.

Who farking cares that some guy from the Allstate commercials is running for the Republican nomination and digs the ladies?

2011-11-04 11:35:09 AM
By the way people

Consensual sexual relations (even outside of marriage) and sexual harassment (using your job position to force sexual relations) is not even close to the same thing. The former is between the person and his spouse, the latter shows that the person uses his job position for personal power and is very important for the public to know.

So stop treating them like the same. If you don't understand the difference you a complete idiot.

I am not on a "team" I vote based on what objectives I want. See that is the difference.
