So you're telling me that Obama started a populist movement airing major grievances with the established authority structure while he's in charge of the established authority structure?

That crafty bastard.

Truth is, OWS is filled with people who elected Obama expecting change and didn't get it. A few things changed, to be sure, and he's at least managed to slap a tourniquet on the wound, but he hasn't done a whole lot to prevent the issues from happening again, and the rich are still getting richer while the poor and middle class get poorer. Some of that is because of his own corporate backers, some of that is because the Republicans block him, but regardless, he is currently part of the problem.

Time will tell if he becomes part of the solution instead, or if he's just paying lip service.
