China: How dare you claim that systemic, widespread corporate fraud and espionage conducted by our government has been going on? It is shameful of you to claim that. We are deeply offended anyone would claim that we do what logged evidence and numerous incidents says we do.

No, no. You gotta start with some light or medium petting.

Heavy petting only leads to bed wetting

We just need to show China that we're better at hacking than them. We are. It's time they learned just who they're dealing with. Put a thermal virus on one of their new supercomputers at a university. Something not too destructive, but still capable of showing we're able to carry out intricate attacks on highly specific targets.

I have it on good authority that it leads to both trouble, and seat wetting.

So we should create a piece of extremely destructive, specialized, and complex logic, then gift wrap it and send it to China just to show them who's boss?

I don't think you thought your cunning plan all the way through.

Not if they can't implement it here. Evidence says they can't.

I used to do this to a old girlfriend to find out when she was last online. We both got a kick out of it.

We don't have to. We just have to know binary.

You're not very well-learned, but I'll remind you that China has complained for many years how many times the US govt. keeps trying to hack into their systems.

The only difference between them and us is that we publicize the cyberattacks on our systems, while China does not, in order to save face. Also perhaps to avoid Chinese people calling for blood like we do to them.
