Most of North America is too farking cold for really bad winters, and the parts that aren't too cold are generally too dry. Disturb that pattern and you are inviting wetter, warmer winters. That means more precipitation.

Interestingly warmer winters means heavier snow fall in some areas - areas where normally it gets cold enough that precipitation is reduced due to the fact that colder air carries less moisture.

The modeling is still in its infancy. Yea global warming is real. No long term climate predictions are not correct.
