Free range children?

2011-11-03 04:47:18 PM
The outrage would have been a million times more if the child on the shirt was black.

Or, maybe you're just a moron.

gopher321: "You raise 'em

At least that rhymes. Sigh.

How many prison guards does it take to throw an inmate down a flight of stairs?

None, he fell.

groppet: Now I want one!

Me too!

I had a shirt they were selling at my friend's prison till they made them stop: "Lovelock Correctional Facility: Three hots & a cot." Also my sister's flight crew when she was in the Air Force (she flew DC-9 Medevac jets): "You Maul 'em, we Haul 'em."

2011-11-03 06:15:36 PM
Meanwhile in Texas: "You bring 'em up, we string 'em up" shirts are selling like hotcakes.

My cousin used to answer her phone "Belle Chasse Morgue, you stab 'em, we bag 'em."

Don't cage me, bro.

I'd like to make a shirt too...but I don't know a good rhyme for "planted evidence"

2011-11-03 06:18:34 PM
"Protect and serve" is too antiquated for a modern upwardly mobile police state.

The reality of America's Prison Industrial Complex making people mad?

"Yes, lets not get mad about the reality of the situation. Lets get mad over a T-shirt depicting the reality of the situation."

You Americans have exchanged your cotton field slavery for prison factory slavery.

I don't see a problem with the shirts. It's a clear message to parents to raise their kids right so they don't end up in trouble with the law. I guess people don't like being reminded that they did a shiatty job raising their spawn.

I would think a "You try em we fry em" would sound better.

We have such idiots in the world who take the most unnecessary risks. A police association selling this??

garion: Used to answer the phone "XYZ Crematorium, you choke'em, we smoke'em"

We answered the phone at our house "County morgue, you stab em, we slab em." Or "Urology - hold please." Dad was a doctor. If you called during dinner (6-6:30) you got hazed on the phone. Good times.

2011-11-03 06:41:38 PM
Not the first time that department has been in the news lately. Link (new window)

To be fair, that department was organized to serve in schools... so the shirts are technically accurate.

1) You're a giant computer that gained self awareness; so your opinion doesn't count.

2) Who are you to judge? You tried to get me to poison DC's water supply with F.E.V.

3) I bet you're a lot of fun at parties.

4) Prisons in the united states are freaking resorts compared to those in columbia.

\ don't you have an abandoned bunker to go live in?

ertai_lapis: My cousin used to answer her phone "Belle Chasse Morgue, you stab 'em, we bag 'em."

That doesnt rhyme in my midwestern accent at all.

Reminds me of the Denver police association's "We get up early, to beat the crowds" T-shirt that got everyone worked up several years ago.

I hate the message, but it's still funny.

2011-11-03 06:43:52 PM
Having always worked on cars for the neighbors, friends and family I used to answer the phone "Benner's chop shop, you steal 'em, we peel 'em."

2011-11-03 06:44:00 PM
After it was pointed out to the association that such a shirt could "could validate feelings of mistrust"

No one's pointed this out yet?
Boy, that internet trick with the
the repeated words really works.

Harlem Police - I rape 'em, he tapes 'em

Wait, how does this work?

You kill 'em, we drill 'em.

Thank you for calling Paul's abortion clinic, you rape 'em, we scrape 'em.

No fetus can beat us
You f--k 'em, we pluck 'em.
You pork 'em, we cork 'em
You fill 'em, we drill 'em

Well hey, any way you take it it's technically true.

Are you actually singing the praises of incarceration? Just when I thought I'd seen all the forms of bullshiate cognitive dissonance trolling possible here on Fark, along comes "It's great in prison" guy. Ugh.

Cops never cease to reinforce the low opinion I have of them.

The Twin Rivers Police Association in California had been selling a T-shirt that showed a child behind bars along with the humorous text, "U Raise 'Em, We Cage 'Em."

Let me guess - because the shirt was *too* accurate?

The only people offended by something like this are the f*cking idiots with their heads in the sand and have no clue about the kind of mouthbreathing trashcan inbreeding state-funded morons the police have to deal with on a daily basis.

2011-11-03 07:00:29 PM
After the Greekfest riots some of the frat houses started selling t shirts with "Greekfest, its a black thing, you wouldn't understand" printed on em, the Virginia Beach police responded with shirts of their own saying "Civil obedience, Its a blue thing, we will MAKE you understand"

I don't think he's actually singing the tune it's great in prison. It sounds to me as if he's saying that it could be worse.

That's the way I read it, I could be wrong...

"Tase" as a verb based on Taser makes no sense because Taser is an acronym for Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle.

Are you going to Thomas A Swift's electric someone?

1) In the united states prison system they actually feed the prisoners somewhat edible food; colombia doesn't feed the prisoners at all; it's up to the family and friends to bring you food. 3 square meals a day beats none.

2) In the united states prison system; they provide working toilets for prisoners; in colombia they provide prisoners a bucket or a whole in the floor.

3) I bet you're a lot of fun at parties too.

4) If I had a choice; I'd go with the us prison system over any other in the world. We treat our prisoners better than we treat our old people at our nursing homes.

/ don't you have to get back to the bridge before someone else moves in?
