It struck me as the same kind of childish impishness that was so familiar with Bush. He didn't appear drunk or high to me (he can't speak clearly when sober, and he was pretty clear that day). He appeared like he was 10.

She and the other speech goers are planning to praise Perry's performance at a Thursday afternoon news conference - and blame the media for the hype.

It's a biatch when the media cover both your good days and bad days. It really is.

It's getting to the point where rolling a gagged Perry out on a Hannibal Lecter dolly would be less damaging than letting him open his pie-hole for more than ten seconds.

At least Bush was consistently an idiot and you could sorta tell that he knew he was acting like a moran and was trying hard not to. Perry seems completely detached from reality. Bush was at least a grounded idiot IMHO.

Let me get this straight.

We're not supposed to give our vote for president to a guy who makes one appearance while drunk, or overmedicated, or concussed, or suffering from a brain tumor, or infested with brain worms, or fresh from a visit to a dentist who's a little heavy on the nitrous.

However, we're supposed to give our vote to a guy who can appear that way COMPLETELY SOBER?
